From the outside, it looks like a glorious dive bar. Inside it is a gentrified modern establishment.
Our problems came from the corporate terrorism that is the modern business model.
This place has no soul. Definitely not like the "Gueros" we saw in Tarantino's Death Proof (the whole reason we stopped by).
The old salsa left out on the table set the tone for this dive into mediocrity and honestly there was nothing to remedy the experience.
It wasn't bad. But it wasn't good either.
Parking: Make sure to get your parking validated otherwise it's quite expensive.

Just walked in one day downtown and really enjoyed the experience. The strawberry margarita was one of the best I’ve ever had and the tacos were cravable. The brisket taco lives rent free in our minds. Definitely worth a visit.
