Worst experience I’ve had in Austin. This bald headed man repeatedly shows up with 8 dogs, not joking, EIGHT DOGS, and it’s non stop barking on the patio. The managers are a joke for not handling this. Will never return again, and I recommend avoiding.

Absolutely thrilled this taco bar had a vegan menu (even though I am actually only vegetarian!). The soy chorizo taquitos were fantastic, the enchiladas were somewhat overpowered by the chipotle sauce. The Rice and beans were good and the margarita was really very nice! Great easy stop on South Congress

This was me and a few friends' last stop of the night on my recent visit to Austin and the place was great! We stopped in for a few street tacos, chips and Margaritas, and all three were fantastic.
The steak and chicken were both tasty, and it's always appreciated when you can get some cheap $3 tacos in the current day! The Margaritas also had a nice kick to them and a great flavor. I also enjoyed the salsa bar that you could use anytime for your food.
The server was fun and was joking with us our whole visit, and the vibe of the place was just very fun and welcoming. Looking forward to stopping by again next time I'm in the Austin area!

Tiny terrible shelf margarita and insane manager, wow! When we (very) politely told our waiter that the top shelf margaritas we were served tasted terrible and were tiny, he immediately apologized profusely and said there would be no charge and he was happy to give us frozen margaritas or a beer (bar had just closed but machine still on). We were impressed. I had literally told him “I hate to complain but I think you need to know this…”. A+ to a competent hospitality exemplar. I NEVER ask for free food and virtually never complain, but ick these sucked).
A minute later a bald bearded manager strode up to the table and asked why, if we thought the drinks weren’t good, we’d drunk as much of our glasses. I kid you not, he really said that. I replied we probably only had an ounce because they were so tiny but then I said “are you seriously saying this? Did the waiter not tell you they were terrible? We didn’t even ask for a replacement, and you come over here telling me I drank too much to complain?? He responded defensively and rudely, and told us to get out. THE MANAGER tells us to get out of Geuro’s for complaining about a bad drink. Right before closing last night. 15 witnesses. Hey owners of Geuro’s-do you read these? Contact me.

Very bland Tex-Mex food. Not authentic Mexican food hence the underwhelming amount of Spanish people in attendance. Very price just for the location and not the food. Service was not that good either, waited 20 min just to order food on a non bus day. Would not recommend compared to the other fine establishments in the area and across the country. P.S. would rather travel across the country than come here again

I want to say the food was great. That atmosphere sure is, but it was just okay. This is an old Austin restaurant. It has been on South Congress long before Austin and South Congress became hip. I remember the food being great. On the Wednesday afternoon I was there it was quiet. The 2 corn tortilla tacos which I was told were the most popular were just okay with a meager amount of filling. Good black beans and salsa. 2 small tacos, beans and water were $17 before tip. My guess is taxes and competition are to blame. I'm going to go back and try again. I want to believe it is still the Gueros I remember. Free parking in the back parking lot!
