BEST lobster rolls I have ever had in my life ! I got the Connecticut Roll, an oyster, and a caviar bump. They aren’t skimpy on the lobster at all and it was reasonably priced. Was my first time in Austin and really wanted to try Garbos. Service was good, atmosphere was very warm and friendly. Host (Jizele, hope I’m spelling it right ! ) was so sweet and nice. We loved her. Anyway, if you’re visiting Austin and love lobster, check out Garbos!

I had the lobster special that ends on Labor Day, two boiled 1 1/2 lb lobsters. It was delicious! Bruce, the waiter, provided excellent service! I moved here in 1990, from New England and it is great to be able to get, excellent, East coast seafood without having to get on a plane.

It's okay, your milage may vary. The vlam chowder was good but the fish and chips platter was under seasoned to the point of boredom. The fish6was cooked well but neither it, nor the batter came anywhere close to being seasoned.
