We enjoy Garbo’s, it’s great having fresh seafood right here in Drippin’. Today we both had Hatch chili dishes with shrimp and it was delicious. Service was excellent. Go there!

Service among the staff was very good. I had the Shrimp Platter. $20 for 6 shrimp. You can literally buy shrimp just like that in the frozen shrimp dinners at the grocery store.

Garbo’s is a must if you want incredible food, lovely atmosphere, and attentive service. The food is fresh, delicious, and offers a unique selection of dishes. Do yourself a favor and stop in for the fish burrito. It is hands down one of the best burritos Austin has to offer. Elaine served us tonight and she was kind, knowledgeable, and very attentive to my food allergy. Service was fast, portions were large, and it was very family friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Their atmosphere deserves an award: salty and maritime yet remarkably hip and chic. Rarely (if ever) do you see a place pull that off. Prices are tough, but that’s standard fare for lobster rolls. The portion wasn’t great at the price point, but I still recommend highly! Staff is wonderful and the place is really inviting.

I went to Garbo’s for the first time tonight with two of my good friends. We all had the Maine lobster roll. I have lived in Boston and spent summers on The Cape/Nantucket and in Maine - not my first lobster roll. The lobster was tender, sweet and not over “mayonnaised.” The bun was buttered and a lovely golden brown. We also shared some fresh oysters which were delicate and delicious.
My only issue was the plastic - our water was served in plastic. Our wine was served in plastic. The utensils were plastic. TOO MUCH PLASTIC. I am a physician and concerned about how the vast amount of plastics being used are affecting our human and planetary health. There are alternatives so let’s use them.
Our server, Will, was incredibly personable and attentive. We talked with him about Austin and he shared that he was a surfer. The plastic issue came up and he mentioned how terrible surfing into plastic trash in the ocean is.
Great food. Will definitely go back for Tuesday fish and chips. But hate the plastic.

I had a very pleasant first experience here. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasted fresh. The indoor dining bar area is a little small, but is nice and cozy. There is an outdoor sitting area as well that is kept clean. Service was great despite the setup that felt as though it would be a grab-and-go style. I will definitely be back.

Everything was flavorful and delicious! We got lobster mozzarella bites for $8 from the happy hour menu (4 pieces), the trio lobster rolls and a burger. The lobster rolls and burger come with a side - we got a caeser salad and chips. The salad was very good, the chips were ordinary chips. Everything was amazing. So amazing we ordered a regular size lobster roll after we were done with the trio! The Connecticut roll was our favorite. We are coming back! Service was also great and quick! I definitely recommend this place.

LOVE this place for Lobster rolls and side salad. Homemade Champagne vinegarette and the best bar drinks! They loaded up the sandwich with tons of lobster meat and every staff member was amazing. They do have homemade ice cream as well, but the lemonade slushy was my favorite.
