Nice festive bar. They went all out with their decorations for Halloween and Christmas. They also have outdoor seatings that was dog friendly.
I attempted to stop by during Halloween, but on the chosen day, the line was out the door, so we were finally able to stop by during the Christmas holidays and arrived right when they opened at 4:00. When we entered, I had been expecting a huge to do similar to Frosty's Christmas bar in Chicago, but instead, it was smaller than I thought with some cute decor, but nothing too outrageous. What I did not expect to find was a disgusting bathroom with fruit flies. The bartenders were very nice and the hot toddy and poinsettia were both really good. If you are looking for really cool and fun decor with an upscale vibe, The Roosevelt room does an excellent job with their Miracle on 5th Street display.

Loved the Christmas decorations all round the bar and in the tent area downstairs!! It was all so festive and fun. There was enough room for a ton of people without feeling too crowded especially in the open area tent in the basement. The holiday drinks were decent although the bartender was trying to do it all too fast and spilled our drinks a bit. They could probably do with more staff during the holiday season.

You gotta come during Christmas or Halloween. They go all out on Christmas decorations and have cocktails to complement the time of year! The ambiance is always merry and bright not only during Christmas time so do yourself a favor and swing by for a jolly good time!

Gibson Street Bar is wonderfully decorated for the holidays. Pro tip: go downstairs to the outside tented area. It was a bit hot upstairs by the bar. Great photo opps a plenty!
