Great modern and hip bar, but not so great cocktails and sassy male bartenders looked like they don’t care about their job.Me and my bf was excited to try good selection of gins tonight but we felt it was not worth it to stay and get another round so we just left without even finish a glass of gin and tonic. Seriously, the drink was very blend and nothing special about it. I don’t know why Arrive kept those two bartenders there. They were no help at all. There’s so many bar selections around this place, so get out of this boring hotel bar and enjoy your time at other bars.

I finally made my way to Gin Bar and it did not disappoint. Cute rooftop bar located within the Arrive Hotel (also home to Vixen's Wedding - separate review posted).Alyssa and Daniel were amazing! Great service and the cocktails were delicious. The ambiance is chic yet cozy with plenty of seating. This is definitely a hidden gem and I hope it garners more attention. Overall solid experience - if you're new in town or just visiting, do make the trip - highly recommended!

A hidden gem with fantastic ambiance! Delicious drinks (gin focus on the menu, but they have a great spirit selection all around), good music, intimate setting tucked away from the hustle of E 6th St. Perfect for a date or group of friends.Getting there is a bit of a secret, but that’s part of the fun - take the back stairs at Lefty’s Brick Bar, or the elevator in the Arrive hotel lobby to the 2nd floor.

The manager Daniel was awesome! He answered questions and replaced my husbands drink when he dropped it right after purchase. Good atmosphere and 90’s DJ is on fire ?!!

Alyssa and Scotty are the best bartenders! So friendly and accommodating. Great drinks.

Gin is my go to alcohol, a good greyhound always hits the spot. However, The bar tender was incredibly rude, she was too busy talking to her friends at the end of the bar. I asked about the sloe gin and she was very unknowledgeable about it saying “I don’t know” and offering nothing else helpful. When it first opened the bartenders were great but now it’s gone down hill. Unfortunate, I won’t be back.

Really nice to finally see gin getting some attention!Still relatively new to gin, but since my foray into it I've really tried to sample as many different types as possible to get a taste of what is out there. This is by far the best place in town to try new and obscure flavors that you won't find at dive, or even nicer bars. The space (rooftop patio attached to the hotel in the back of Lefty's) is particularly nice during the evening as it's not hot, and they had a live DJ while we were there, and even free pizza for all of the customers! It's probably also somewhat more quiet since it's geared toward gin (but there are other liquor as well) so it might be serving a more niche set of clientele.

Guys come on…roach INFESTATION. Unacceptable. Visited 6 months apart, roaches remained center stage. Terminix?

I really enjoy gin. This place is on the rooftop of Lefty's. I came here on a saturday night and enjoyed the space and drinks. They have emporium gin, my latest discovery. The fire pits were perfect to the chilly night. I like that it's not too divey and not too crowded and features gin. There are whiskey bars and mezcal bars and finally a gin bar, aptly named Gin Bar :)

Refreshing outdoor space with a cool perspective of the immediate vicinity.

Decent gin selection, but I found the cocktail menu to be slightly underwhelming.

Stunning locale in the most popular area of Austin. Nestled one level above the street on a comfortable rooftop, Gin bar is a wonderful spot for friends and family during the afternoon, but especially in the evening. We first came here during an event where music and drinks were served and had a great time. The drinks themselves are adequate, with a few specials offered at a time.

The bar itself is adorable and a great location. The bar could use some signage, it is not easy to get into. The stairwell at the bottom of lefty's can't be accessed, and there's a small sign that says to enter at the hotel. It just isn't very clear. We passed it and the valet ended up pointing us in the right direction. The bartender was so nice and knowledgeable. She did a great job recommending things. The drinks themselves were pretty decent but I wasn't WOWED by any of them. Could use some more exciting ingredients.
