I recently enjoyed the buffet at Godavari, and I was particularly impressed by the rich, authentic flavors in all the mutton dishes—they truly stand out! The selection offers a solid variety of high-quality items, making it a satisfying meal overall. That said, the spread is a bit more limited compared to Naga’s buffet. If you’re craving flavorful Indian cuisine, this spot is definitely a great choice!

The food was mediocre at best, the food wasn't hot. The taste was pretty good tbh. Chicken and mutton was pretty cool. The draw back was the food not being hot. The ambience could have been better. Decent variety too.

Had a really great experience here. The food was full of authentic flavors and everything tasted super fresh. You can tell the dishes are made with a lot of care. The staff was friendly.
The place has a warm, comfortable vibe. The biryani, curries, and naan were all delicious.

Honestly, this has become one of my favorite spots for Indian food in the area. Definitely worth trying!

I took my folks to the weekend buffet and accidentally found their Tandoori sampler. I'm hooked! I've gotten it three times already. It's a great plate of tandoori chicken, two kinds of boneless kebabs, and shrimp. Bonus: it's basically the healthiest Indian restaurant food you can get.

Superb buffet! Excellent variety of South Indian dishes. Adding dosa to the buffet would make it even better, though they did have idly on the day I visited. The taste of every item was simply great. More people should definitely support this place — it truly deserves it!

Terrible service. Any time I'm there they seem annoyed even though they never have more than 2 tables filled. The lamb dish I've gotten twice has been filled with bones. Not one or two, but filled. Almost no meat in their meat dishes. I ask for spicy and there is almost no spice. I'd be shocked if this place makes it another year.

We went at lunch time expecting a buffet. They told us the buffet was only on Fridays and Saturdays so we decided to stay in order from the menu (which was very large and confusingly laid out) since we had driven all the way across town. Nearly everything we had asked for on the menu the waiter (who took 20 minutes to get to us even though there was no other customers there… At lunchtime…) said they didn’t have. I’m not sure what kind of Indian establishment would not have paneer, aloo Tikki, or Gobi 65 available but they didn’t.. We were very disappointed and we decided to go to another restaurant that actually had all the items on their menu readily available. I couldn’t recommend this place less if I tried.

If I could give this restaurant 20 stars, I absolutely would. From the moment we walked in, we were swept into an atmosphere that was warm, inviting, and full of vibrant energy. The décor strikes the perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort—it's the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome and at ease.
Now let’s talk about the food—wow. Every dish was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and served in portions so generous we had leftovers to look forward to (and they were just as good the next day!). Each bite was a celebration of authentic Indian cuisine—rich, bold, and beautifully balanced.
The staff deserve a standing ovation. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, they guided us through the menu like seasoned culinary tour guides. Their recommendations were spot on, and their hospitality made the entire experience feel personal and special.
And the drinks! It was my first time trying Indian beer, and I was introduced to Taj Mahal—crisp, refreshing, and perfectly paired with the spices of the meal. It elevated the experience to a whole new level.
All in all, this restaurant didn’t just serve us a meal—it delivered an experience. Whether you're a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, I highly and most definitely recommend you give this gem a try.
This wasn’t just dinner—it was a memory in the making.

Best South Indian restaurant in Austin (so far) found it better than Sangam, Suprabhat etc.
Tried the thatte idli, Idli vada combo, different dosas - everything was on point, and came in good quantity (except sambar - could do with more of it)

Nice interiors compared to other Indian restaurants
