I went with two friends for High Tea at Goldie’s and we had a wonderful time! It is pretty pricey (~$100 per person for tea without the alcohol add-on after service charge and gratuity) but it’s great for special occasions. The food was delicious and they had a great selection of tea. We tried 5 different pots of tea and they asked us if we wanted refills on the food, which we declined because it was surprisingly filling. Not sure if there would have been an extra charge for refills on food but the tea seemed to be unlimited.
The atmosphere is great! It’s a small cozy, fairly quiet room right off the busy lobby and on the corner of the busy downtown streets so it feels like a retreat from the hustle and bustle.

This was our first afternoon high tea experience and we absolutely loved it! One person in my party had severe allergies and we appreciated the fact the hostess was both educated and accommodating. Chef Eddie came to our table to get clarification and explain what items would be served for my one friend. She loved all of her selections and the rest of us enjoyed our selections, too. We loved the attention to detail and the presentation. We then enjoyed the hotel bar for the rest of the afternoon evening, which was also a lot of fun!

My friends and I had a fantastic experience at the afternoon tea at Goldie's! The food was delicious, their teas are great, and service was amazing, with knowledgeable and attentive staff.

I absolutely loved the teatime experience at Goldie's! I booked a reservation here a few weeks in advance for mine & my partner's anniversary, and in the resy I let them know we are grain free. Upon arrival, the service and ambience were on point, and the small food was delicious AND the pastry Chief actually made us special grain-free desserts

Loved having afternoon tea and being able to enjoy the slow pace of tiny sandwiches + baked goods.

We visited for a birthday tea party, and the experience was wonderful. The service was excellent, attentive, and added to the special occasion. The tea selection was impressive, with something for everyone. The venue is cozy and intimate, with beautiful design details that create a charming atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing and delightful tea experience.

Very cute inside. The tea was delicious! My SIL is a vegan and they had a complete vegan offering for her which was impressive. Beautiful presentation. Some of the teas and food were hit and miss but I think that depends on the person. The mad hatter was my favorite!

I had a wonderful time at Goldie's at Austin Proper Hotel. I booked the Afternoon Tea service for my twin sister and her closest friends to celebrate her upcoming marriage. The tea service took place in a gorgeous and calm setting, and our server was attentive and informative about each item on the menu. They also brought out dedicated vegan & vegetarian platters for those in our party with dietary restrictions. There is a high level of detail put into every aspect of this experience—I would highly recommend Goldie's Afternoon Tea as an intimate luncheon among friends or as a unique date idea!

I love this place and it is such a fun experience! In my opinion, it is a perfect outing for the girls and also a great place to catch up. I am a little bummed they raised the prices for the experience, but it is still a great time. I just may not go quite as frequently anymore because after a tip is included 20% it seems a bit expensive to pay $110 for tea and bites. Granted, that didn't stop me from going this time, but it's a perspective to share and allow someone to determine if it is worth it (to them) for a little outing. I have written a raving review about this place before and still continue to talk it up, so if you asked me now, I would still say "GO!" Just know the full experience ahead of time. :)

Came here prior to dinner for a quick cocktail. It’s supposed to be reservation only, but they were able to fit us in, because it wasn’t too busy. They highly suggest the signature cocktails there’s about 12 to choose from the cocktails are super unique. The bartender was very knowledgeable And helpful with the drink choices they have a couple complementary bar foods they serve with the drinks. Quiet and quaint little hidden bar and the heart of the city hidden inside the proper austin hotel.

From 6-10am Goldie’s turns into a coffee bar! The coffee was absolutely delicious!

The setting was lovely. Very friendly and attentive service - the staff were knowledgable and accommodating of dietary needs as well. Lovely spot for afternoon tea - everything was delicious and beautifully presented!

Kevin is an amazing mixologist and great host and bartender. Always does such a wonderful job of making you feel welcome and incredibly knowledgeable about all the various possible combinations from cocktails to mocktails and everything in between. The atmosphere and design and ambiance of Goldies is, in a word, sublime. Absolutely perfect. One of my favorite spots in Austin to relax, bring guests, and just enjoy the city. Highly recommend checking out Goldie's!

Firstly, I love all things Kelly Wearstler, so I was excited to at the very least see this bar. Wearstler crushed the design for this bar. It's sexy, chic, warm, embracing and gender neutral with an edge. We came here after dinner, and we're mesmerized by the decor initially. Only to then be excited by the delicious cocktails served here. The music was perfectly suited to the space and vibe. I will definitely return to enjoy high tea another day. Fantastic experience!
