Gourdoughs is not only a MUST VISIT for out of towners, but totally can be a weekly regular spot, because of not only how delicious they are, but the vast varieties they have to cure that savory, sweet or "coffee" tooth! They seriously have some of the most decadent delicious treats out there!! I know for some of you indulging in donuts like this isn't always a regular thing, but they now offer MINI versions of the massive donuts you're already a fan of, which allows you to feel more "responsible" eating them AND allows you to try all the different varieties they have and of course justifies more regular visits hehe! PLUS they offer coffee and a couple savory items like their breakfast sandwich and Ron burgundy burger (super juicy, delicious with a quality angus patty), along with their mother clucker (fried chicken and donut) which is some of the BEST fried chicken out there!! The have conditioned their food truck spot to be super inviting with tables, umbrellas and "instaworthy" signage! It had been YEARS since we visited Gourdough's and are kicking ourselves in the butt that it had been so long! Don't let that be you! If you have never been or its been a minute, we HIGHLY encourage you to check them out again and try some of their new offerings or enjoy something you haven't had in a minute! Gourdoughs you rock and can't thank you enough sharing your calorie worthy donuts with Austin!

Being one who doesn't throw a parade over sweets - eh. The donuts are huge, impossible for an average appetite to finish. The one that I remember is their maple-glazed bacon donut which tastes like a traditional American breakfast, a pleasant flavour but so much sugar and grease and it was also undercooked. It actually gave me a headache. It's a cool idea and nothing here is bad really, in fact I have friends that rave about Gourdough's. However I prefer eating fresh food and this is just not my thing man.

**Revised: The Mother Clucker is pretty good as the protein helps to cut down on the sucrose. The Chunky Monkey is good favour-wise, but to sweet. The same I will say for the Son of A Peach. The Miss Shortcake however, is less sugar laden and I really enjoyed it. Star added.

Despite being raised Catholic, I never felt true guilt until I ate a maple bacon donut for breakfast. Truly a memorable experience, not to be missed. Probably not one that should be repeated terribly often though.

Great dessert option! But if you're looking for a meal...try the MOTHER CLUCKER, a donut twist on chicken and waffles with fried chicken. SO YUMMY.

This place is death, but I recomend everyone try (preferably share) something from here once a year. The donut plain is amazing. The menu is creative and tantalizing. I tried the Baby Rattler and loved it!

My first visit to Gourdough's was long overdue and definitely lived up to the hype. Lots of hilariously named doughnuts with enticing combinations of toppings, about 4 bucks each. The wait can get pretty lengthy (20-30 min) depending on when you show up, but these doughnuts are worth the Dough($) and the wait because of the generous amounts of toppings and size of the doughnuts!

Been going for a while, and I'm a hard critic when it comes to food. A very large variety of things to choose from (savory, sweet, both with personal/optional choices/combos). The doughnuts are a bigger-than-average size, and the way they fry the dough is perfect (nice fried crust, very soft cooked dough on the inside, good toppings/frostings). Definitely worth the cost.
