While I don’t want to leave this review because I absolutely love Granny’s and their breakfast tacos are 10/10 in my opinion, something needs to be said about the parking situation here.
Granny’s has a series of parking spots directly outside its establishment, however these spots are apparently not theirs and parking in them results in a $100+ parking ticket.
The business will respond to this saying that there are signs outside stating as such, however, in what world are the parking spots that are directly in front of your building not a part of your property?
This is a baseline assumption anyone would make when pulling up to a restaurant or any business for that matter. This is simply unacceptable and a sure fire way to discourage any further visits ever again.
If you're looking for great tacos in Austin, look elsewhere as there are plenty of other options where you won't get ticketed for supporting their business.

AWESOME TACOS!!! So so worth the trip here!! The fish taco was fantastic and so was the guac and queso. Highly recommend! The BAWI sparkling water was also a nice highlight. Overall great food, service, and drinks.

Granny’s Tacos absolutely delivered today. The tacos were incredible and easily the best I have had in Austin. The drinks were just as impressive. The margarita was really good too.
The service stood out in the best way. Everyone was warm, quick, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Parking was totally fine. There is no free parking, but it is easy to figure out and there are plenty of spots around, so it did not feel like a hassle at all.
Overall, an amazing visit. Great food, great drinks, great service. I will definitely be coming back.

Chicken taco was out of this world! It was perfectly seasoned, served hot, and it was perfection in every bite! You order at the counter, and they will bring the food to your table. Amazing food!
Stopped by for some delicious breakfast tacos and although we had a bit of wait, it was worth it. Tacos are large and filled well. Definitely make sure you order their homemade tortillas, they elevate the tacos to a whole new level!

Extremely overpriced spent 15 dollars on two tacos. The guy in the truck didn't seem to care about me as a customer. The mild salsa was far from mild. Seriously 15 dollars for two tacos I've never felt so spat on before .
