Great breakfast tacos and burrito, hit it up if you’re around!

Everything I've ever eaten there is delicious. From my custom breakfast taco, to their machaca, to their guacamole that is some of the best I've ever had. Easy to order at the window, and it takes them a few minutes because they actually cook up the food while you wait. These are some of the best breakfast tacos I've ever had.

Tacos are large and flavorful. My favorite is the Abuela. Other taco spots offer choice for 2 shells for tacos. Granny's could benefit from this as you will get messy eating with your hands. Also (at least with Abuela) no salsa is needed. Chips and guacamole are good choice for side.Vegetarian options: Only 1 choice for vegetarian taco which can be selected as breakfast (with eggs) or lunch (with beans)

Service is quick and easy, the space has wooden tables to sit comfortably. My disappointment was with my order. I had the chilaquiles taco with green sauce and a scrambled egg. I was expecting soft chilaquiles but found crunchy corn chips which made it hard to take a bite and keep the tortilla from ripping. Ate the chips first and then when I tried to eat the egg it was too salty. I won’t be making the same order from there, better stick to their breakfast tacos from now on.

Not the easiest to find parking or a place to sit and eat, but it's a taco truck. That didn't bother me at all. Ordered 4 tacos. Shrimp taco was pretty solid. Good flavor and my favorite of the bunch. Alambre with steak was good and the sauce on it was top notch. The Rico was a hot mess. Rice had zero flavor and the mole sauce was very bland. The Birria was incredibly bland as well. Some lime helped some, but not nearly enough to save it. All the salsa was very mediocre as well. Not bad but just missing flavor.

Granny Taco’s is a must if you want to have some delicious tacos. The guys running the truck were super sweet, and there’s a nice seating area to enjoy your tacos. We ordered their famous Chilaquil tacos with mole and it was absolutely delicious. Crunchy, flavorful and a must try. Loved it and will be going back.

#1 best tacos in Austin hands down. And believe me, we’ve tried them all. The Alambre taco is mayor of Flavortown. Corn tortillas are fresh, homemade perfection. Tacos are very large, basically burritos. Don’t bother eating any other tacos ever!!!
