We have been here twice for breakfast tacos and they are excellent! You really can't go wrong with what you order. The folks running this place are friendly and there probably about 8 or so picnic tables to sit on.

$5.25 for a two bite taco with no cheese, $3 for Jarito, which is a dollar in Walmart, and $7 or chips with a side of guac about the size of a thumb. Yes, I thought the point of eating at a food truck was to save some money, not spend more.This place is outrageously overpriced, is in an awful location and the atmosphere is eating on a gravel pit.

Granny's tacos please don't ever change. Regular here, I live walking distance - friends or family out of town, I bring them here, not Veracruz tacos. Breakfast tacos were never really a thing for me until I moved to Austin. Migas, chilaquiles, burritos, everything is just so good. Even when I take it to go, it's warm and tasty. Service is quick and so friendly, even when they're busy, they crank out those orders. I'm surprised I don't have any pictures! For a while, it was only Granny's in this space but now it's filling up with some other food trucks. Hoping quality doesn't change!

Adding another review to account for their lunch tacos which they absolutely LOAD up. It's honestly more like a burrito than a taco at this point because even just one will keep you full & happy

Granny's has several locations and the food is always great,fresh and hot . The staff is great, but not wheelchair accessible at either location due to no ramps .

I'm an absolute sucker for breakfast tacos, so I made sure to try multiple spots when I came to Austin. I was so glad to find this one so close to my Airbnb! Granny's Tacos was def my favorite! They have a few tacos on their menu with pre-selected ingredients, but you could also make your own. We got the Machaca (steak, eggs, pico, cheese, and avocado), make our own with potato egg and cheese, and one egg chorizo and cheese. These tacos were absolutely loaded with filling, and were so good! They also have three types of salsa, and you get one with each taco. My favorite was the molcajete which was a roasted salsa, but they were all great, and we probably ended up mixing all three salsas on each taco anyway.

A friend recommended this place and said they were still dreaming about the breakfast tacos. I now see why. We got the migas taco, chilequil with mole and 2 tacos with egg chorizo and beans. All of them were incredible. They were huge and had a ton of flavor! Best breakfast taco I have had. Check this place out!

The tacos are larger than most and have some flavor, but nothing that stood out as memorable. The service was friendly and the area was clean with ample parking. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again if I was in the area and looking for something quick.
