You know how diners have their staple foods; e.g., burger, meatloaf, club sandwich. And when you go to a diner, you know you're going to get diner-quality food. It's not going to get a Micheline star but it's going to scratch that diner-food itch... Well imagine someone did a diner take on classic Texas and Southern food. That's Green Mesquite, and it's worth every penny (because they're reasonable prices). Unpretentious, delicious (hush puppies hit a nostalgic place for me), affordable, especially for the location, simple. Good food doesn't have to be rocket science. We will be back again.
