Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen - Northwest Hills

Beautifil setting, however, our server disappeared after bringing water and menus. The restaurant was not really that busy but we waited over 20 minutes to order our dinner.

The fish was not very fresh and had a strong taste. The large wedge salad was very sparsely dressed....basically $14 for a large wedge of lettuce!. We paid over $50 for a very mediocre meal.

I am disappointed because the location is really nice and my experiences with the other Groves in Austin has been great with delicious food and prompt service. This is my second visit to this location. Unfortunately, my "salad experience" has been similar both times. We will think long and hard about eating here again!

The food here was delicious, Jared was our server and he did not disappoint. Very attentive, good vibes, & great conversation. Restrooms are very clean, one of my pet peeves lol
The manager Ashli gave great customer service and was very welcoming. Definitely recommend.

Lovely outdoor space to enjoy your food and wine. A great place for a date or dinner/happy hour with friends. The bolognese is AMAZING!

Everything is good—the bruschetta, the peach crisp are what we tried, too.

Saw this place on tik tok and had to try. The manager who was seating tables around noon was very friendly and welcoming. Also my server was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable of the menu and even gave us an amazing recommendation. Can’t wait till my sister visits to bring her here.

Overdue review. I was in Austin 2 weekends in a row in the middle of October. Demetrius was so welcoming, friendly & is truly a kind soul. He made great wine recommendations & I even took home a bottle. Forbidden rice bowl was delicious. The patio was wonderful!
Went back the 2nd weekend. Demetrius wasn’t on the patio so Stevie was my server. She was so kind, informative & wonderful. You can’t go wrong with either of them. Demetrius made a point to come say hello & remembered my name. These two made me want to come back time & again. Had the avocado gazpacho & halibut. Both were delicious!

Disclaimer for review readers - we did not order any food (yet)! Stopped by on the way home for a nightcap, and was very impressed with how warm, personable, and knowledgeable the bartenders are. Enjoyed the drinks, the atmosphere is one of a newly built establishment but is clean and welcoming. We will stop by more often for wine at the bar because of how friendly and professional the staff is!

The flavors of the food are kind of a letdown. Presentation is beautiful and the chef does some really nice knife work (crazy thin radishes) but the food just doesn’t taste that good. For example, strawberry and balsamic and completely overpowered by the goat cheese in the bruschetta. I tried a few small plates and didn’t care for them.

I can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner! Austin has many great places to eat and drink however some have some extra special. Not only did I find out they have multiple locations all around the city but they are all great! The service team is so welcoming and makes you feel like they have known you for years. The food is excellent and also great portions that are fair to the pricing. I typically like to go out with family or friends however I find myself returning on my own because the bar staff is warm and friendly and engages with you. I can’t say enough about this place. Try it out and see for yourself! Cheers!

Ate on the comfortable and shaded patio, tried all the bruschetta among 5 people, shared bolognese pasta, salmon and pork chop. All were exceptionally good! The wine list amazed us with its huge selection of by the glass as well as reasonably priced bottles. We're going back next time we're in town.

I am only giving this a 5 star for service because our server Dimetrius went above and beyond to make sure we had a good dining experience. It started out very poorly with being seated at an undesirable table and then with no one even acknowledging that we had been seated for several minutes, Dimetrius stepped in and took exceptional care of us! They have one heck of a wonderful person and employee in him and I hope they recognize that!

We had a very enjoyable lunch. Service was good, food was good (a little too much dressing on the salad for me, I should have asked for it on the side). Very nice atmosphere. We'll definitely go back!
