This restaurant truly exceeded all my expectations! I ordered lamb with yellow rice and a bit of caramelized onions, and the flavors were absolutely amazing. The yogurt sauce and the mildly spicy sauce added the perfect touch. The dessert, which included incredible ingredients like banana, was simply out of this world. We typically order the Kabsa Rice and/or Mandi Rice with Lamb Shank. Both are consistently great. The portion sizes are pretty large, with more than enough rice and lamb.

Kabsa could maybe get even better with the roasted carrots and raisins, but I am not sure if that’s more of an Afghan thing than Yemeni.

Keep in mind that this is a cloud kitchen with limited seating in front, and we have only ever picked up. Food has always been fresh.

If I could leave more than five stars I would do. The best mandi in Austin, I have never ate anything like this in the US. We have our own restaurant, and I will be their customer because of the tasty and clean food. The service is very nice, especially the Yamane guy he is so respectful.
