“We had party order from Sangam for our event during May 14th weekend for 3 courses (1 Lunch and 2 dinner) for about 100 people. Shiva was working with me and helped with the menu making sure none of the courses repeat any items including papad. He made suggestions based on our preferences and also guided us with the count and other details. Each of the delivery was made promptly at the requested time. The food provided was scrumptious and quantity was more than sufficient. Each of our friends were pleased with the food. “We were in Austin for the Ameripolitan Weekender. The food truck was there one night and we ordered food to take back to the hotel. Everything was so good! The mushroom & swiss burgers w/jalapenos were so tasty. the lemon pepper wings were excellent. Great tots and jalapeno poppers. we sish we lived close enough to eat there all the time! Excellent!!!“

The décor strikes the perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort—it's the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome and at ease.
Now let’s talk about the food—wow. Every dish was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and served in portions so generous we had leftovers to look forward to (and they were just as good the next day!). Each bite was a celebration of authentic Indian cuisine—rich, bold, and beautifully balanced.
The staff deserve a standing ovation. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, they guided us through the menu like seasoned culinary tour guides. Their recommendations were spot on, and their hospitality made the entire experience feel personal and special.
And the drinks! It was my first time trying Indian beer, and I was introduced to Taj Mahal—crisp, refreshing, and perfectly paired with the spices of the meal. It elevated the experience to a whole new level.

“I tried this food truck about 3 months ago and meant to post this review a loooooong time ago. The fact that I still think about this place says volumes.

I tried the Philly cheese steak and it was 10/10 in flavor. Huge portion and even got to try a taco. Will definitely go back when I'm back in town.

“My family reserved Dimassis restaurant (Research Blvd) for 150 guests for a meet & greet function for my new born son. I must say, every single guest enjoyed the experience that Dimassis provided. Abu Ali and Sammy were great hosts. The service was amazing. The food was hot, plentiful , and very delicious. The restaurant was very clean as well. It was a 10/10 experience , a five star experience.“

“USA HALAL is an absolute gem and a must-stop if you’re visiting Austin, TX! The food here is incredibly delicious and packed with flavor, perfectly spiced, and super fresh. My husband and I ordered the beef plate (#4), which comes with rice and a side salad, and the combination was just perfect. The freshness of the salad paired with the savory beef and fluffy rice made for an amazing meal.
One thing to note: the food does take a little while to prepare, so be patient. It’s all made fresh, and you can really taste the difference. If you're in a rush, I’d recommend ordering ahead, but honestly, the wait is totally worth it.

“This was my first time in to pick up. I always order through Favor I believe, or 1 of the delivery apps. Jordan was there and gave me a great customer experience. His hospitality was incredible....we had a large order and he helped me to the car! “To the owner! For a long time, this was the best Halal truck downtown. The last two times I’ve eaten here I got a gyro wrap with nothing but meat, lettuce and white sauce, despite asking for both white and red sauce.

They are no longer toasting the pita bread either.

I hope the quality comes back, I love this truck.“

“This place was really good. It’s affordable and it has a lot of options. I got gyros over rice and it was great. I thought it’d be a wrap with the rice, but it’s just the meat part over the rice. The white sauce was great and you can get as much as you want. My friend got the combo over rice and she liked it. The portion size is also great.“
