“My family reserved Dimassis restaurant (Research Blvd) for 150 guests for a meet & greet function for my new born son. I must say, every single guest enjoyed the experience that Dimassis provided. Abu Ali and Sammy were great hosts. The service was amazing. The food was hot, plentiful , and very delicious. The restaurant was very clean as well. It was a 10/10 experience , a five star experience.“

“I had the pleasure of enjoying my first plate of yumminess while attending Mythicon last weekend. It was so great to have some authentic middle eastern. It was delicious. The staff was so fun and friendly that we got so busy chatting I forgot to pay. I felt horrible and when I returned to pay, they were so grateful for my honesty that they insisted I enjoy my complimentary meal. So, free and delish! Win win!“

“I am in Austin visiting my cousin ( I live in new Braunfels) and I was craving gyros and since this place was close and available for GrubHub delivery I decided to try it out.
I had the gyro plate and OMG was it amazing! It was a decently large portion and everything was cooked perfectly. The meat was tender, the sauce was delicious, rice was not over or under cooked and the "salad" part wasn't wilted or soggy. I highly recommend this place for any gyro lover.“

“I worked up the ways from this spot on South Congress for years and never got to try it. Today after a walk in the rain after a concert we needed some food and finally got my chance to try it out.
Do. Not. Pass. This. Up.
We didn't want a lot so we asked if he could do some kind of loaded fries and he recommended the gyro meat on the French fries with white sauce and let me tell you it was phenomenal. The fries are extra crispy. The meat was super tender. It was everything I didn't know I wanted and more. Don't wait like I did!“

“We had party order from Sangam for our event during May 14th weekend for 3 courses (1 Lunch and 2 dinner) for about 100 people. Shiva was working with me and helped with the menu making sure none of the courses repeat any items including papad. He made suggestions based on our preferences and also guided us with the count and other details. Each of the delivery was made promptly at the requested time. The food provided was scrumptious and quantity was more than sufficient. Each of our friends were pleased with the food. “I tried this food truck about 3 months ago and meant to post this review a loooooong time ago. The fact that I still think about this place says volumes.
I tried the Philly cheese steak and it was 10/10 in flavor. Huge portion and even got to try a taco. Will definitely go back when I'm back in town.
Best part is supporting a family who clearly enjoys what they do. So kind, friendly, and passionate - it shows in their food.“

“Best South Indian restaurant in Austin (so far) found it better than Sangam, Suprabhat etc.
Tried the thatte idli, Idli vada combo, different dosas - everything was on point, and came in good quantity (except sambar - could do with more of it)

“This was my first time in to pick up. I always order through Favor I believe, or 1 of the delivery apps. Jordan was there and gave me a great customer experience. His hospitality was incredible....we had a large order and he helped me to the car! Food was amazing as usual... the Jalapeño Fish Salad is a favorite and their Fried Chicken is hands down, best in town. Thank You Jordan and Halal Wings for a great lunch today!“

“If you're craving proper kebabs, this place has you covered. I absolutely love their food and it's fast, fairly priced, and damn good.
Only downside is their patio seating is a bit spartan, especially if it's hot out but it's shaded and they have tables for groups if you want to chow down before you go.“

“I have been coming to Halal Time for several years now and I have to say he consistently has the best falafel in town. I’ve tried a lot of falafel throughout the years, but Halal Time has this special spice and flavor plus a slight bit of heat. I have bought their falafel for many of my friends and all of them absolutely love it and agree that it’s some of the best falafel I’ve ever had.
The cheese fries are phenomenal here. The fries are really crispy and delicious and it’s just cheese that’s melted in the microwave, but it goes so well with the fries and he adds in three dabs of his sauces for dipping and it just stays crispy and it’s perfect late night or anytime dish.
I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu. His lamb and chicken combo with rice is phenomenal. I love his rice because it’s so full of flavor and it’s quality good.
The service here is always top-notch and friendly, and they are usually very quick efficient in making orders. The bottom line is this food. Here is exceptional quality, and full of flavor. It’s my main go to place for falafel, cheese, fries, and everything halal on the menu. Never had a bad meal here.“

The Combination Plate with extra sauce and pita is an absolute must-try—you’ll thank me later. The portions are incredibly generous, easily making three meals out of one order. It’s flavorful, filling, and always a stop on my list whenever I’m in town.“
