Halal Bros is honestly one of my favorite spots in Austin! The food is always fresh, the portions are big, and the flavor never misses. I usually get the chicken and lamb over rice — it’s packed with flavor, and that white sauce is perfect. The staff are super friendly and quick, even when it’s busy. If you’re looking for something delicious, filling, and halal, this is definitely the place to go!
They offer a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes, and our favorite is the lamb over rice plate. It’s consistently served with generous portions and a fresh side salad, making it a satisfying choice every time. Specially for take out.

The food is great but the short man that cooks is super slow and definitely racist. I waited 30 mins for 2 rice bowls and I was the only one in the store at the time. Once people started coming in of course not black they waited no more than 5 mins for their food. I watched this employee take his lunch and come back and my 2 chicken rice bowls were still not done. Hire a faster cook because he is super super slow.
