Located in Hana World is what may be the best Korean food we’ve had in Austin so far. Unfortunately, since Hana World is closing we decided to stop by and check it out one last time. Parking is easy to find and this stall is in the food court just past Ramen Del Barrio. Somehow we hadn’t eaten at Hana Yoree before, but we wish we had. It is very much a food stall but has such a homey feeling to it. Ordering is very easy and they have a pretty diverse menu for such a small food court. Just a heads up, it’s cash only so be prepped for that when you stop by. We got a good amount of food including their spicy beef soup, homemade noodle soup, Korean scallion pancake, bulgogi, and fried dumplings.
Every dish was good with the homemade noodle soup being a true standout. The homemade noodle soup has a sweet broth and chewy noodles wrapped up into one delicious comfort dish we wish we could have every cold night. The spicy beef soup popped with flavor. The beef tender and the spice not being so much that it took away from the rest of it. The scallion pancakes were unexpectedly seafood based which threw us off a bit but was still decent nonetheless. Their bulgogi was absolutely mouth watering. Juicy and packed with flavor, we could’ve eaten pounds of it. And lastly, the fried dumplings were good. Pretty tiny but still very yummy.
The whole meal was great and it felt like such a loving and home cooked meal for us to have eaten in the middle of a food court. With Hana Worlds closing, Hana Yoree doesn’t know what’s next as they don’t have any set plans but we very much do hope they are able to make it because this is a spot deserving of its own storefront and we would love to come back and eat again.

Honestly went to eat at ramen del barrio and we felt like we wanted to show another small business some support. I regret it.
Customer service was terrible. And the food was not good. Very disappointing.

I hate leaving a review like this for an Asian, small business, but I have to.
We went on for an early dinner on a Tuesday. The ladies seemed disinterested from the beginning. That's fine because it's a food court and we didn't go there expecting excellent service. However, when the entire food court is empty, maybe acting as if you're doing is a favor isn't the best way to go!
We ordered the Dak Bulgogi which is Korean BBQ Chicken served with rice. I am not Korean but I've had enough Korean food, and have several Korean friends to know what a basic Dak Bulgogi should look and taste like.
When it arrived, it was a shocker! The chicken seemed grey, had no char and didn't even look stir fried. It was doused in sesame oil, and had absolutely no flavor. We were very hungry and insanely tired, so we just decided to eat whatever we could. The attached photo shows what I mean. They did give us two types of kimchi which was the saving grace.
However, I don't think I'll be going back ever to eat at this place. I'm not sure if the ladies thought they could serve us this crap because we clearly didn't look Korean (or even Asian) but that food should not have been served. I'd much rather eat at Ramen del Barrio or make the trip elsewhere for decent Korean food. It's an abomination in the name of Korean food which is so amazing!

Hana Yoree serves authentic Korean food, tucked away inside Hana World Asian Market.
My go-to comfort food here is their instant ramen, served with delicious cabbage and radish kimchi plus a bowl of white rice. Their kimchi pancake is excellent as well. Just a heads-up, it’s cash only!!!
The food is quite good, but the lady who runs the register has the worst attitude of any place I’ve been to. This place would be worlds better if she didn’t work there.

I think this is the only place in Austin that serves Sam Gae Tang (whole chicken stew). It tastes amazing. The lack of heavy spices and salt doesn't mean it's bland like other reviews said. It's supposed to reveal the flavors of high quality chicken and rice.
Other dishes we tried were all good. For the price, it's an amazing deal! The lady at the counter is friendly.

Tucked inside Hanna Market. I ordered the beef BBQ and the side items are authentic and excellent! The bulgogi was tender and flavorful. I would rate this so far the best bulgogi so far! Atmosphere is ok. The seating area was adequate and service was decent. For the food, I would definitely come back again!
First, cash only for food court; Second, there food kind of salty; third, service wasn’t nice at all, request for more sesame oil for my Bibimbap,NO! Not recommend this place for sure.
