I'm so happy there's an ice cream place nearby now. I've gotten the horchata twice because it's sooo creamy and sweet! They'll really pack the ice cream in so the portions are great value.

Excellent ice cream, but less than ideal experience for our family. A weekday was our first time visiting and they were very busy and not particularly patient. The smallest size ice cream available is very large (3 scoops) which was hugely overkill for our small children. The menu was not intuitive and the person working the register was not helpful in advising me on options for the younger crowd, so we ended up with excessive amounts of ice cream ? There is a playscape directly next to the ice cream shop, however, Handel’s does not have restrooms available for patrons, so make note if your kids will be a sticky mess like ours were ?

My husband is a huge ice cream lover. He's always asking for some. So when Handels opened down the road, you already know he was excited. Finally tried it yesterday. Wow. I'm impressed. One of their taglines are "we don't skimp" and they ain't kidding. I saw someone get a "small" cone and when she recieved it, even she said "this is a small??" Haha. It was towering. Anyway, we got the 4 scoop sampler. If you wanna try different flavors for a good price, I recommend that! It was enough for both my husband and I. The flavors are delish!! My favorite so far is Graham Central Station. The prices are pretty good too! I def see ourselves returning.

And this is coming from the guy who always wants tons of ice cream. I recommend getting small or medium size if it's 1-2 people and large for anything else. The taste of it all was great too. We ended up getting the 4 Scoop Sampler and tried out a few flavors instead of just having one or two. For the record: Graham Central Station was our absolute favorite. I'm looking forward to our next visit already and thankfully I won't have to wait long since it's literally right down the road from us.

A really great family friendly neighborhood ice cream store! I went for the first time the other week and tried their banana split, ice cream sampler, and their blondie sundae with their most popular flavors and they were all delicious. I genuinely don't think that you could go wrong with anything here. All the staff members are extremely sweet and open to help. They make everything in house and the owners are families that live in the neighborhood so the community energy is top notch! If you're debating what to get, definitely ask the staff! Their recommendations were so fire.
