The food was wonderful but honestly a very disappointing experience for me as a first timer from out of town. Came on a Friday night, it was not busy which had me a little concerned but went with it. Had a reservation for 8:30 but arrived around 7:30 thinking we would sit at the bar until our time. We were seated right away but it took a very long time to be greeted and our table was not very clean. Sauce on seats from previous guest. They seemed to be staffed well as it looked like there was 1 visible worker to every 3 guests. By the time our server came over, before hearing anything about the food or menu, they complained about their last table to our table which was awkward. We ordered a few cocktails, friend zucchini, lamb pizza and the shrimp. Food and drinks were excellent. Decor and ambiance is lovely. Lots of space yet had warm intimate vibes. Plenty of indoor and covered outdoor seating, with fans for hotter days.

Best hummus plate I have had, great burgers, fried zucchini, staff is friendly, parking is good in spite of the construction happening next door. Come here often.

The food was delicious, portions were a bit small but overall the staff and the venue were nice. Unfortunately they were sold out of a few things when I went but perhaps I'll come back and give it another try.

The ambience and space was perfect for date. The food was wonderful and great sizes for two or three to share. Everyone enjoyed the delicious drinks. Chewy was our server and he was fantastic and attentive from the start. I would recommend this place as a great spot to catch up, girls night out, date night, or anything casual too.

Unfortunately just had such a poor experience here. Used to be one of my favorite weekend spots in Austin. This time a round the food was less than average and the service was terrible. We were rarely checked on and when we were it would take forever to get what we requested. Sad to say I probably won’t be

I'm visiting for spring break. We ordered brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, grilled cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries, veggie burger, and cheese burger.Everything was disgusting. The brussel sprouts had too much balsamic vinegar, the Mac and cheese needed salt, the veggie burger tasted like a fart, the grilled cheese was cold, the hamburger tasted greasy, but wasn't greasy. Like how does that happen?Anywho, Ana was the only saving grace. Her attitude and professionalism was on point.

Hanks is typically my after church go to; didn't necessarily care for the meal yesterday. The fried zucchini was delicious however the brussels were bitter and the tomato soup was not what I expected. This doesn't mean I won't come back, I just know that Sunday brunch is my preference!

Very beautiful place. The lime can get really long. So be sure to get there in earlier vs later for brunch. Their menu is good and servings were pretty big. The chicken sandwich was ok, but the pancakes were on

i loved our server very much she made me feel comfortable and warm, i do not know her name. brunch was good. the bloody mary was too tomato and too thick but still consumable. the salad was very good and more filling than expected. i will not return but will suggest this place when acquaintances ask for southern style brunch in an elevated space.Vegetarian options: the salad is very good.Kid-friendliness: i believe children should stay at home or chuck e. cheese.

Hank's is a top restaurant in Mueller, with consistently great Southern food and a classy, casual atmosphere that's usually filled with fun people. The baked goods and homemade sauces are exceptional, so don't skip on the bread that comes with your entree. My favorite item is the bacon-egg-cheese biscuit served with berry jam. The biscuit is huge and crunchy on the outside, better than you can get get from anywhere with "biscuit " in their name. These days, it seems only served on the cafe side, so ask at the counter. They run out by 10am or earlier. The drip coffee is very heavy on the acid profile, similar to what I've had from Dazbog -- some people must love it, but I'll opt with espresso drinks here. After breakfast and brunch hours, the food selection is pricey compared to many restaurants in the area, although the quality is reliably high. Happy hour discounts encouraged us try most of the menu items over numerous visits. Our favorites are the crispy rice, fried chicken, zucchini fries, cheeseburger, grilled cheese with tomato soup, shakshuka, and the seasonal Weinerschneitzel. Parking is abundant, as is seating both inside and on the porch. We love bringing our dogs when it's sunny, and so do many customers, but many patio tables don't have a good hitching post for strong/reactive dogs, so the cafe is best with its metal railing. Finally, the music -- it's typically soul and classic rock from the 60s and 70s. The selections fit my tastes perfectly, but the vibes are friendly to all and invite you to sway or hop in your seat. The volume is tasteful and moderate, not disruptive to conversation but probably too loud for telework meetings on your laptop. Overall, we love Hank's and will always take friends and family there.

We enjoyed our Saturday brunch on the dog-friendly patio! Our server was the best and didn't rush us out, which was nice since my friend and I had a lot of catching up to do. Delicious coffee and good low-carb options too. I opted for scrambled eggs with a side of yummy sausage and bacon with the most delicious arugula salad! Parking is a breeze, and that's nothing to sneeze at in this town. We will definitely be back to Hank's and suggest this great little casual culinary delight to others!!

My friend and I met up here to catch up and hang out, and also grab a bite to eat. We grabbed some coffee/tea on the Cafe side and found a seat to plug in our computers and do some work. It was a relaxed environment, the place looks cool, and overall just a good spot to get some work done, studying, or just hang out with a friend. There was pleasant music playing in the background which wasn't too distracting but also not too quiet to where we couldn't tell what was playing. We shared a turkey sandwich and the hummus and pita appetizer, and they were both pretty good. I'd definitely consider coming back and checking out the restaurant side.
