So good — highly recommend! Happy Chicks on Burnet absolutely nailed it. The service was amazing from start to finish, and the food came out fresh and piping hot. The mac and cheese was so delicious, the creamed corn was perfect, and I loved all the flavored sauce options, that garlic raaaanch omg seriously so good.
A huge shoutout to Matt! He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. If you’re craving great comfort food and great service, this is the spot.
My friend and I went to Happy Chicks bc a place down the street wasn't open for food. My friend was not anticipating ordering anything bc she eats vegan. But they have vegan options!! The chicken was good and the side selection are varied. The orders come with fries PLUS another side. Inside eating is a bit tight, but we sat outside since we had her dog with us. An option we chose out of convenience that turned out to be really solid! Thank you!

I stopped by Happy Chicks on my lunch break and ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries, a lemonade, and jalapeño ranch. I’ve had both great and not-so-great experiences here in the past, but this visit was the most disappointing by far.
First, I noticed that drinks are no longer included with the combo, which I’m assuming is due to inflation. The lemonade was $3.49 on its own, I opted to purchase as I enjoy the lemonade. I also requested jalapeño ranch and did not receive it. I should’ve checked my food as I usually do 😩
The biggest issue, though, was the food quality. The chicken on my sandwich was fried so hard that it was dry and tough. The fries were even worse, I ate a couple and had to stop. They tasted off, almost like the potatoes had gone bad or had been fried in old oil. It honestly gave a strange, almost fishy taste that made me want to spit it out.
On top of that, I’ve noticed lately that the chicken strips have gotten smaller, with more crispy breading than actual meat. The inconsistency is really frustrating.
Overall, I am disappointed. I know this place can be good because I’ve had good experiences here before but the inconsistency and decline in quality lately is making it hard to justify coming back.

The food was a big disappointment. Chicken nuggets tasted dry yet somehow overly oily and greasy at the same time. It didn’t feel fresh, and unfortunately, it even left me with an upset stomach afterward. Definitely not the quality I was hoping for, and I don’t plan on coming back.

Really good, hot and fresh food. Stopped in to get a small bite with my pups before our vet visit. Cashier asked about my dogs and we even got a few extra nuggets for them. We were very happy with our food and experience and will be back!! 🐾
