Delicious blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries. Bun was toasty, bacon crisp with burger cooked well. Staff was crazy busy but still friendly. Would definitely recommend to out of towners & locals.

Solid restaurant on the east side of Austin. They have a beer list with over 100 beer options that regularly rotate. For food, you can’t go wrong with the chicken wings. They have tons of TVs if you are a sports fan. There’s an outdoor patio and indoor seating as well.

If you’re a Lions, fan this is the spot.
I'm giving this place two stars (not one) because the marinade on the chicken was perfect, and the pickled egg was spectacular.
However, on all other fronts, I had an awful experience with this restaurant. I'm not mad at anyone, but I am deeply disappointed.
I have Celiac disease. I ordered a gluten-free grilled chicken sandwich. The lady I ordered it from confirmed my order details verbally to make sure she had it correctly. Lo and behold, I got ahold of my chicken sandwich, very excited to eat it, and was met with an autoimmune reaction by the time I got home. I only took a couple bites of the bun before realising that it was most definitely NOT gluten-free like I asked for, but still. Come on, guys, step it up. Seriously. It shouldn't be this bad. I understand cross-contamination is something that can't be helped in a non-dedicated gluten-free facility, but this is just ridiculous. If you don't have gluten-free options, take them off the menu. People with autoimmune disorders have a right to order food without fearing for their health. Thanks and have a good night.
This is a cute sports bar type vibe with a nice outdoor patio. I’ve been once for drinks and once for dinner. When we went for dinner it was a UT game — crowded but not packed. We were able to find a table with another group outside and shared the space. The service when it’s busy is a little spotty which is understandable but it was also a little spotty when I went for drinks and it was slow. I got a burger and fried okra. I definitely recommend the fried okra. Their ranch is spicy and amazing definitely need to get. I like that they have a lot of beer to try on draft.

Super cool and friendly staff. Even though we got there fairly late, the food was delicious and piping hot!
I miss the kettle chips, love this place so much, but miss the kettle chips. Please, I don't know where else to go for the most perfect kettle chips, nothing compares 😭😭 noone does them the same. They were the most exceptional chips i ever had, some with little puffs of air in them, I will search for the rest of my life for a chip close to what i had at haymaker. RIP delicious kettle chips.
CRISIS AVERTED YALL THEY BROUGHT BACK THE CHIPS GO GET SOME RN!

I’ve been going here for years but lately the staff has been inattentive. Taking your order seems to be a chore for them and you’re lucky if you can even get two rounds in. This has been the case on more than one occasion now. There’s so many good spots to choose from on Manor, you’re better off going to another bar.

Have been here a few times for their lions watch party games. Great wings, had a great hefeweizen on tap, and a taste of home.

Not sure why some people are choosing to post a review of an airport bar, as this page and experience is reserved for the Haymaker located on Manor Road - the original. Obviously, any airport bar would be overpriced with a limited selection. We had a nice time and enjoyed good appetizers, tasty frozen drinks, and a great selection of draft beer. Our server, Sam, was friendly and helpful, and the vibe of the place was perfect for a Saturday hang. We definitely plan to return for a football or soccer game.
There is no service. Period. This has been my go-to place for years, but I've been trying to order online/over the phone all week (could really use a pick-me-up, so I keep going for them) and all of their delivery services are down, even though the store claims to be open. Not only that, but they don't answer the phone at all. I'm talking multiple calls each day for the last three days, and nothing. At this point I'm calling just out of curiosity for how long it will take to get a response. This is at the Manor Road location. Really disappointing.
