Wow! The food was spectacular. I spend a lot of time in Mexico and have experienced the flavors of Mexico from the tip of the Yucatán Peninsula to Tijuana.
This little unassuming Mexican restaurant in a neighborhood strip center made me feel as if I were in Patzquaro, Michoacán at a high-end restaurant and the price was incredibly reasonable for Austin.
The waitress was attentive, professional and friendly. I have eaten at the location a number of times and have never been disappointed.

I came in. I was surprised about the atmosphere which was fair service took a minute. The young lady was really not a big help. The food is highly expensive for enchilada plate. $22 dollars. Yeah!!! I won’t be coming to this place again.

Made in Mexico??? a nice nice place. good service. etc but Stuffed Chiles. without egg. smoothie covering it. (Thank God my grandmother is already resting. in peace. otherwise she would die again.) if she tries this recipe) forgive my ignorance in which part of Mexico ?? do they prepare them like this? We got excited about the desserts. mmm but the tres leches. seriously the bread pudding undercover. with the three milks? but well, the desire to innovate is understood. We only ask for originality in your dishes, thank you!!!_Made in Mexico??? a nice nice place. good service. etc but Stuffed Chiles. without egg. smoothie covering it. The clientele are quite different from the people who serve them. I don't think the servers eat this food because it is really bad. For example, the salsa tastes like unsalted, canned tomato with a bit of tobasco sauce, and the chips are flavorless. The rice and beans are also bland. I have a hard time paying for food at with places like this. I didn't enjoy it at all.

It is a cute tiny place but the food is delicious and with a real mexican taste. They have comida corrida from monday to saturday and the owner is super nice. He always help me with my gluten free/vegan diet to make me something delicious. Highly recommended

I ordered fajitas to go and while there were decent, i got a side of pico de gallo that tastes really old and disgusting, so no, not fresh.

Probably the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. The traditional mole is the only thing worth ordering

One of our favorite restaurants. Has interior Mexican food which is healthier than traditional TexMex.

I wish I had read the reviews before visiting this restaurant—everything makes sense now. It seems they tend to add surprise upcharges that are never mentioned. My husband, two kids, and I visited today. While we enjoyed our meal and found the service attentive, we were completely blindsided by extra charges our server failed to inform us about. We had estimated that our meal, including tip, would cost around $70. To our surprise, the final bill was $115, tip included.

It wasn’t just the cost that upset us—it was the lack of transparency. For instance, I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant that charges extra for choosing corn tortillas over flour tortillas. I ended up paying over $8 for corn tortillas, completely unaware that they were “special” or “homemade” and came with an additional cost. Had I known, I would’ve happily stuck with the flour tortillas.

After paying, I politely explained the situation to the manager. Unfortunately, his response was disappointing. He simply mentioned that he had already spoken to the servers about explaining these charges, but made no effort to resolve the issue or take responsibility for the restaurant’s mistake. He even pointed out that the server had undercharged us for a change to my child’s meal—again, something we were never informed about. Instead of addressing the problem, the manager seemed more concerned with the server’s error than with making sure we felt valued as customers.

Because of this experience, we won’t be returning. It’s not about the money or the food—it’s the lack of consideration for the customer that left a bad taste in our mouths.

Small cantina restaurant with good interior food and a wide selection of tequilas and mezcals. The various soups and street style tacos and enchiladas feature catch and lots of mole, and the bar is a friendly place for the neighborhood until 10pm.
