Hen House has the best atmosphere from all of the bars we went to on a recent trip to downtown Austin. Austin is the best bartender I’ve ever come across! So accommodating, friendly and makes great cocktails. The Chnelle, Marina and piña coladas taste fantastic. It’s a plus that the restroom has a disco ball. Thanks for a great time!

Asked for a vodka soda ended up with a $32 drink. Which included an automatic 20% gratuity for a single drink. Not sure I've ever had a bar automatically apply a gratuity, let alone one that high for a single drink. The vodka soda base price was $24

Drinks were delicious. Fun, cute underground bar that turns into a dance club later in the evening. Once it turns into a dance club they charge an entrance fee.

I’ve been a fan of this place for a while but last night they solidified having a customer for life!! I lost my phone at some point in the night and the bar staff and bouncers were so accommodating and helpful, doing the best they could to help track it down. It was eventually turned in by a Good Samaritan - big thanks to Issac, Juno and the rest of the crew for their kindness.

Cheery interior, not intimate. made for standing room only vibes. Gin and tonic rather than martini kinda bar. Automatic 8% gratuity on check. Nice waitstaff!

We got here just before 10pm or so before heading to the main event and it was empty, so I'm not sure how the actual vibe is there with a crowd. It seems good. The drinks were decent - same as usual drinks. The place isn't too big from what I remember, but it's clean and has a unique aesthetic to it. The bartenders were very friendly to us. They also have a DJ set up area.
