Our time initially was a little unpleasant due to the host's snarky demeanor, which created an off-putting start. However, the ambiance of the venue was definitely a highlight. The server further improved the experience, providing attentive and friendly service as well as recommending outstanding cocktails that complemented our preferences. Despite the rocky beginning, the overall experience was redeemed by the inviting atmosphere and exceptional service from our server.

This secret Speakeasy is a MUST when in Austin! Reservation REQUIRED but you won’t be disappointed! The atmosphere is perfect date night or girlfriend outing! Did I mention reservation is required? ? And don’t come late or with more people than your reservation lists! The drink list is the best presentation I’ve seen! It’s in book form with each drink accompanied with a story or poem!

Really unique, creative combinations of cocktails, beautifully presented and balanced. It is very expensive and the size of the ice cubes seems to make it seem like the drink is even smaller. We made a reservation at 9:30 but were not seated til around 9:50 and didn't receive our drink until 10 pm. By 10:45, we were already starting to get pressure to leave and had to quickly order a second cocktail. That didn't sit well. If you overbook, you need to allow more leeway for groups that are seated later. We reserved 90 minutes but started getting pressure less than 60 min into actually sitting. Fix that.

Our visit to Austin has been a cornucopia of craft cocktail bars, but this may be my favorite. Two small plates were good, and we had three cocktails a piece, which went from originals to classics. The poetry and artwork in the menu was clever. Finn and Randy were very welcoming and quick-witted.

This place is really special from start to finish! Every cocktail is one of a kind and the ambience is intimate and moody. Love that the music isn’t too loud for conversation it’s just low enough to read our poetry and enjoy. Grandma’s Cooking apple pie cocktail is still my number one on the menu.

A wonderful speakeasy in Austin! I greatly enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks. I got the milk and honey and it was well made, however I was slightly disappointed it was premade. For my second drink they made a Singapore Sling upon request, which I was happy with since other bars tend not to make it. Wish I could try more drinks since they had a huge variety and fun presentations! You can make a reservation through the app and they are responsive to text as well.

Hip, “secret” underground speakeasy with a very chill vibe. I’ve been a few times and each time has been enjoyable. The service is great, the drinks are good, and making a reservation is easy (and be sure you make a reservation, sometimes they are weeks out on the weekend). The only real issue I have with the place is it’s expensive for the drink sizes. If you take the giant ice cubes out the glass you end up with maybe an 8oz drink for $21+. Although the experience is cool I don’t think it’s worth multiple visits or the high prices.

I've been to many, and this was hands down one of the top speakeasy and craft cocktail experiences. Everything - the service, menu choices, ingredients, and, of course, the finished product - was simply perfection. If you're in town, you owe it to yourself to come here!

Horrible capacity unless you reserve 2+ months out. Downloaded the App for the bar and only provided my 1 available time which they never accepted nor told me I didn’t have a reservation in advance. Waste of time if you’re trying to visit Austin. Far better bars with better accommodation and user friendly availability.

Went through all the hassle of downloading their app to make a reservation days ahead for a first date. One whole hour before the date and reservation time they sent a text message stating, SURPRISE! the reservation was in fact NOT confirmed! This left me scrambling to find an alternative venue.I guess these guys are a little too cool for school. Needless to say I won't be trying again. What a perfect example of the rude, pretentious mess Austin has become.
