Higbie's is one of our favorite bars to stop in when we visit Austin! The atmosphere is great, they are always playing top sporting events, the bartenders are quick, awesome, and a lot of fun and we love the pool tables!

My friends and I came here hoping to have a fun night out, but instead we were met with pure rudeness. We used the Photo Booth, which cost $7, and paid with a $10 bill , but never got our change back. When we politely brought this up to the manager, he was unbelievably rude and dismissive. Instead of simply resolving the issue, he gave us attitude and treated us like we were the problem. The guy was a total jerk! It’s not even about the $3 . It’s about basic respect and customer service. No one deserves to be spoken to that way when they’re just trying to enjoy themselves. Definitely won’t be coming back here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values being treated decently.

Bar tenders are so rude. Came to drink and play pool. To wait for our turn me and my friend decided to take photos at the photos booth. Photos were $7 and we put in a $10 dollar bill. Got done with photos and expected $3 back. First blonde bartender said the Photo Booth wasnt theirs and it was through a vendor or something. We didn’t even ask for the full $3 back but just 4 quarters to pay for a game of pool. She went to go speak to a long hair male bartender our situation. He was a complete tool. Said it was common sense that we wouldn’t get our change back said it was like a vending machine and “vending machines does not give change back” in his words. His example was total bs because you do get change back from a vending machine. Look up in google it will say yes vending machines do give change back. Basically called us stupid. But seems like it was the other way around.

I used the photobooth and put in a $10, the photos cost $7.00. The $3.00 in change wasn't given back. I talked to the 2 people over the bar at the time and said we wanted the change to play pool. The man in charge was extremely rude and told me that it was common sense that i wasnt going to get my change back and it was our fault. He was rude and disrespectful to me and my cousin.

Found this place on Apple Maps and DID NOT disappoint! Taco was working on Monday and so happy to find a place with an amazing atmosphere and ambiance for a night after working! 10/10 recommend
