I've been coming here for years and it's never let me down. I'm so glad Hillside Farmacy has endured the challenges of the growth and economic ecosystem in Austin. Always welcoming staff, never with an attitude or judgmental reception, these folks always make you feel welcomed. We always have the burgers with malt fries but we chose Trout and Pasta in this visit...fabulous. The cocktails were excellent and made with care and of course the ambience and decor continues to be inspiring. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Three of us visited this restaurant early on a Saturday evening. It's an interesting place with a lot of history in Austin. The food was good and we had a good time. Prices were reasonable. I'd go back if I'm ever staying in that part of town again.

I had a great experience at Hillside Farmacy! The food was amazing—super fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality. The only downside was the parking, which was a bit of a hassle. Still, once inside, everything made up for it. Definitely worth a visit!

I went for the $25 sunday steak special and was not disappointed. The steak was rather large and cooked well. I also ordered a salad and a crème brûlée, which were also delicious. Atmosphere of the restaurant is very cool and all of the staff look very hipster. Great ambience and a great menu.

I went to brunch with my sister and my mom and had the best Bloody Mary. Our server was Alex(?) and he was so funny and so attentive, we would come back just for the jokes and the drinks. 10/10 service 10/10 drinks
We enjoyed ourselves at brunch. As protein forward people it seemed a little lacking, and smaller plates relative to the price, but the service was great, atmosphere excellent, and the food delicious. Will likely try lunch or dinner.

It had been a long time since I ate at Hillside and I was worried about how the experience would be given some of the recent reviews. I'm glad I gave it another chance as we had a wonderful experience. The team and the overall service were fantastic and the food and ambiance were as great as I remembered. I am pleased that this establishment has kept up it standards after so many years given how many local gems we are losing to the new more expensive and trendy restaurants opening up, especially in that area.

What an absolute gem this place is! SO cute that they kept the original pharmacy look while operating a great farm to table restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this historic landmark and was SO impressed by the design aesthetic and decor. The crispy Brussel sprouts were amazing! We ordered a second appetizer of it! We enjoyed the risotto balls and my redfish po'boy was outstanding! Our table loved our drinks from cocktails to the soda fountain specialties. We highly recommend this place!
