We were there at 2pm on Monday, April 7/25. To counter some of the other reviewers, the young man at Hippies and Hops was super friendly and helpful to everyone including me. He saw me waiting next door at Peached Tortilla and asked me if I needed to place an order and he was able to do it for me. He was very helpful at the bar and provided excellent service to all of his patrons.
I took off one star because the prices are really too high even for airport prices at...

We love this place! Excellent pizza and the homemade margs on tap are the best. Love that it’s family friendly, tons of seating, and the ladies taking the order always do so with a smile. After 25 years of Concan trips, I’m so very thankful to have an establishment like this just down the road from our rental to frequent on our trips.

I had a really cool experience at this bar. It’s predominantly locally brewed beers from Austin or from Texas. They also offer a full menu from The Peached Tortilla just next door. The bar tender was an absolute gem. He was so helpful, happy to answer questions, and willing to let you try samples. If I find myself passing through Austin ever again this will be a regular spot for me. Good beer. Good food. Good company.
