Awesome food truck in mueller park food court, great healthy options for some food.

Vegetarian options: Whole menu is veg.

Dietary restrictions: Great for vegan/veg folk or folks looking for healthy balanced high protein meals

Parking: Lots of parking in mueller lots. Not handicap accessible, everything is gravel some with big rocks, and curb would be tough, no accessible seating.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options on menu

Delicious and deeply satisfying! Black beans and rice, tempeh, avocado, well seasoned. Many places have often tepid vegan options but Hippy Eats knows true vegan nutrition and flavor!

The owner Jason was extremely rude when we approached the counter and tried to ask about what food items were available he shut the window on us and told us to leave, would not recommend to any newcomers in the Austin area

Tried this place out with my family for lunch.

The Brisket tempeh and shukshuka was delicious! We also got the falafel plate, dolmas and plantain fries. Very tasty! And the rice was nicely cooked.

Thanks Jason for the nice service. We’ll visit you again once you move to Mueller.

Such nourishing food made with love! We had the special that week with some Texas tempeh brisket on top of a shashuka and it was perfect! My husband who isn’t a fan of tomatoes absolutely devoured that savory goodness. Nice vegan food truck addition to the east Austin scene.

I was sent for work here in Austin from the Waco area and found this gem. Since I'm on a restrictive diet, I googled and found Hippy Eats! I have never had a falafel before but was not disappointed. Jason was nice and easy to talk to and went above and beyond in every aspect of the experience. He even enhanced my falafel with extras (we'll call it a secret menu item for now). The smell of the food from the ride back to work was delicious and the taste was great as well.

Thank you Jason for the Austin falafel experience!

Located at the corner of Bolm and Springdale, Hippy Eats is a quiet refuge from the overly car-riddled areas of the rest of Austin. The food park is so quiet. It's so close to the Southern Walnut Creek trail so after a good ride, walk, or run, the Hibiscus-Lemon-Rose Water tea will cool ya down. The pita and hummus (oh, hummus and pita lol) is so simple and yum and there's so much hummus to do a huge dip-and-scoop with each piece of pita. The Thai salad is so daggone fresh! So regretful it took me 3 years of north Austin living to try it. Don't be big dumb like me and go to Hippy Eats!
