Food is legit and authentic, I have no idea why this isn’t rated higher. Blows the other popular places like three gorges out of the water even though it’s comparing Hunan to Sichuan this place just does it better

Ordered online on Christmas at 6:25 PM. Website said 20 minutes. Being a resonable person, I knew it would be more than 20 minutes. I live close by, and thought I'd run over to get a more valid estimate. I waited for almost an hour, while the three women running the PACKED restaraunt masterfully got the food out to everyone at the tables and those waiting in line as soon as the kitchen had it ready. At one point, a woman appeared unhappy with the wait, and was griping and yelling at the staff, and they handled it like champs. I wished I spoke Chinese so that I could have told her to shut up and get over it. The staff was SUPER BUSY. They were also super proffessional. The food was hot and DELICIOUS. Thank you guys so much for working so hard and making such good food!

I called to order their food, when i was on call the person not asked my name but i still gave it just in case they need it. And when i get there to take my order, this Chinese young lady wearing red dress like a santa clause w black boots is so mean. I told her i want to pick up an order and she just looking at me and i was confused bcs this lady didn’t say anything and she ended up say “who? Say something bla bla bla” i mean yeah u can ask me “name?” Or something not just looking at me w that arrogant face and talk so arrogant to the customer. And i said “they not asked my name when i make an order” and i showed her the name of the food that i ordered. And she said “not ready” like i know she lied bcs i ordered it at 5.40pm something and the person who take my order said it will be ready in 40 minutes, which is it must be ready by the time i got there bcs i come at 7.30pm. And yes when i asked my order to the other lady she immediately gave me my order. That young lady need to learn to be nice to the customer. Will never go back there to order anything. You loosing customer bcs of ur bad service.

Got chicken fried rice to go, easily the worst I’ve ever had. Way overcooked, chicken was rubbery and rice had a burnt aftertaste and to top it off there were a couple small chicken bones mixed in. Was looking forward to this place after seeing the reviews but unfortunately won’t be coming back.

Food is okay. Take out services always too slow. They only start making your order once you have arrived.

Hunan Bistro has so many delicious dishes(a lot of spicy options). They serve quite amount of food with reasonable price. We always craving their food. And dining in is also good, they remodel and decorate the restaurant. If you order through phone, it usually takes about 25-30 mins during week days. Highly recommend!
