Honestly, a pretty decently priced restaurant! And the food is high quality too! Shared an appetizer and the sashimi bowl with a friend and we were both decently full at the end. The takoyaki is so creamy and it comes out nice and warm. Would definitely recommend that. And the sashimi bibimbap is so worth it. For $23 you get a huge bowl of sashimi, rice, and vegetables. And you get to mix it all like bibimbap.

Placed a to go order for two rolls. Ordering online was quick and easy and the food was ready on time. To go service was nice as well. The Hot Mama roll lacked the flavor we expected from the description. However, the Land and Sea roll was excellent with lots of flavor! Will definitely be back to try more menu items!

My go to spot for delicious sushi!! I've tried numerous rolls, from classic California to more adventurous specialty rolls and the creative combinations of ingredients never fail to impress!! The staff is always friendly and attentive, I really enjoy coming here with family, very relaxed atmosphere. Plus, the prices are reasonable considering the high quality of the food and service provided.

A great place for larger parties since they do have a back room to accommodate. It is easy to make reservation here too. I recommend getting their Shiso if you love sashimi. It comes with brussel sprout, agedashi tofu and shrimp with udon salad, 20 pieces nigiri sushi (tuna, salmon, fatty salmon, yellowtail, escolar, sea bass, red snapper, mackerel, albacore, eel) & 32 pieces sashimi combination (chef choice of 8 kinds of fish). I fell in love with their caramelized Brussels sprouts. It was crispy and sweet and perfect at the same time. Definitely coming here again just to order that alone. Another cool thing is that with the fish head, you can asked them to grill it for you and it still taste great! You can see it in the picture I post.

Their sashimi bibimbap is absolutely divine - it's my favorite dish by far! What sets it apart is the generous portion of fish; you'll find more fish than rice, which is a rarity. I often recommend both the restaurant and this particular dish to friends in Austin, TX. Moreover, Ichi Umi's flexibility and kindness when it comes to reservations truly stand out. On one occasion, I needed to make a reservation for a group of 15 people. Not only were they able to accommodate us with a room in the back, but they also allowed me to drop off a birthday cake a few hours before our reservation, as I couldn't bring it with me at the time. I highly recommend Ichi Umi for anyone craving delicious fish dishes at a reasonable price, backed by excellent service and flexibility with reservations. (Warning: there are two locations. I HIGHLY recommend this location for sushi, not the other one).

This is by far the best sushi I have had anywhere I've been in the United States. That is a big task. It is just so fresh!! I would drive from Houston just for this place, honestly it's that good! Depending on which waiter you get they make great recommendations. I've never had bad service or food. And it's quaint. It has so much to offer. I can't wait to go back!

New found Sushi place! The food is incredible and the ambience of the restaurant is very relaxing. Their rolls are large, and were flavorful and filling. My Chicken Teriyaki was so tender you could cut it with a chopstick!

First time at this restaurant. I'm so glad we checked it out. I ordered the bulgogi bento box and my coworker ordered a variety of sushi. The beef bulgogi was sooooo flavorful and perfectly done. The portions were generous, including the California roll that's included in the bento box. The miso soup that the bento box comes with was legit as well. My coworker gave his sushi a thumbs up. Definitely recommend this place if you're craving Japanese cuisine.

Absolutely delicious!! Sushi was fresh and the service was incredible. Highly recommend the nigiri. I got a variety and each bite was great. The otoro and hamachi toro were the winners of the night. The ambiance was casual but busy for a Sunday at 8pm, which is a great sign!

Delicious! This is my second time eating here, and it never disappoints! Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Haru Combo, which came with tons of little bites and tofu and brussels. Everything was mouthwatering. Service is extremely attentive, with wait staff constantly checking in to make sure you have everything you need. The food came out quickly, too, which was nice since we were quite hungry!! Plenty of parking in the huge lot out front. Highly recommend!
