Cute brunch place. I had the BLT but all of the food was very delicious! We went with a large group and it was no problem on a Saturday. Definitely recommend!

It was a cute setting and the food and service was great! The mimosas were on point and the chicken sandwich was 10/10!

The food here is 6/5 stars. However the service is SO bad. Be prepared to be completely disregarded by the whole entire staff. Set your expectations before coming here.

The atmosphere changes with the time of day, from bright brunch to classy afternoon coffee/snacks or dinner to lively bar. Well done options, with lots of veggies. Friends say it's the best grilled cheese in Austin. The menu gets pricey, but it's downtown.

Kid-friendliness: Probably not a great fit at this price point.

Good music, great food and friendly service. What more can you ask for? I really enjoyed the frozen margarita with a guava float. The tomato bisque soup was THE BEST I ever had. I can also recommend the enchiladas ?

The food was great and there was nothing wrong with our service from our waitress or any staff we encountered. My biggest complaint is the scam that the bachelorette package is. First off, I had to complete a whole contract but tell me why they thought it was for a birthday party when we got there? It’s called a bachelorette package? Also i filled in the brides name but they had mine instead. Second, on the contract it says food and beverage $84 for six people. Three people had to pay for sodas and we all had to pay menu price for food. So basically $84 dollars is to reserve a table (in a place thats almost empty at 10:30 am), to get “bottomless” popcorn and six rice krispie treats. Sure we got an offer for free cake once dessert came around but it wasn't good and i had to dispute it on the receipt. Third, we had to add mimosas for the people that wanted to drink, so thats $8 per person and not bottomless, so when the bride got a second glass it was $16 on her tab. Also, the new shots to replace the jello shots were disgusting. Ive never had Kahlúa mixed with fireball and not gonna start today. If you ask me, sure this is a good place to eat, but if you sign up for this package just understand the final bill will be way overpriced. Ive seen reviews of bach brunches here and thats why we went to Irenes, but our brunch just didn’t look like that at all. Ive attached a pic of my receipt, we didn’t complain in person because we liked our waitress and she had nothing to do with the price gouging we experienced here. (Btw its free to park in austin on Sundays but you should know to use the actual lot next door you have to pay).

So, 14pp? Where? Actually a scam!

I came here yesterday evening (Thursday). I came for the food, but stayed for the lovely tarot reader, Deidre. To be honest, I definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here. The food is mediocre at best, and the service is terrible. But Deidre, is incredibly gifted and very intuitive. She answered my questions as I was THINKING them, I hadn’t even had the chance to speak before she began to read me like a book. She was not only very insightful but also very thorough, which really impressed me because she did the reading so quickly and efficiently . I would absolutely come back to see her again.

Cute restaurant. Yummy food. Nice servers. Great iced lattes. I’ve only been for brunch. The breakfast potato’s are really yummy. Avocado is always pretty and fresh.

This place was really cool. We came for the Friday brunch - the food was amazing. We got the mezze plate (happy hour was going on so it was $8) and i got the chicken breakfast biscuit. Amazing!

I was already familiar with eating at Irene's for awhile but this time I brought my husband who is plant-based/vegan. He was a bit disappointed with the lack of options available. It's too bad because I really wanted us to enjoy it together.

Vegetarian options: Could use a few more options and better labeling in the menus to make ordering simple.

Super friendly staff, nice open dining room, and the food is delicious. Best BLT I've ever had and I get one anytime I go to a new place that has it.
