The brisket was dry. The ribs were over cooked. The burnt ends were good. The peach cobbler was from a can. I was really disappointed because I was told it was the most popular. The pecan pie is gritty and contained alot of cinnamon.

The takeout order was less than acceptable bbq. The meat was over cooked, the beans were tasteless and the Mac and cheese had a hair in it.

Customer service wise first the staff was behind the counter and didn’t really greet me.
I was asked for my ID when I approached the staff. Then was questioned on what I ordered. I checked the order and the portions were very very small. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Get the beef rib plate or Jr rib plates. In Texas each bbq places specialize in something this place it's the beef rib 10/10. If you get anything else it's alright but like seriously try the beef rib.

A perfect stop for lunch on a Monday. My beef brisket platter, with the fixings, and sides of coleslaw and baked beans was delicious. Service was quick, and the dining room was comfortable and clean.

Great little bbq place! Food and atmosphere were great. Beef ribs looked like it came off a small dinosaur!! Huge! Brisket was tender and juicy. Well done! 🤌🏼

It appears they have hiked their prices 25%+ in the last year, based on menu photos. Staying at the fairmont across the street, and will walk a bit and avoid this place.

Honestly this was the best BBQ I had in Austin. It's got a great vibe, historic building and the food is amazing. Highly recommend.

Cool looking spot with no lines and an old-timey atmosphere, however the bbq is nothing to write home about. Pork ribs were good but the beef rib was straight up tough to eat. Brisket was okay but not a whole lot of flavor compared to others in cen-tex.

Went for lunch and the brisket was on point and customer service was great. The meat cutter made good conversation while he was slicing brisket.
