Tried Jade for the first time ever, and got the Fried Dumpling Trio and a small Hot & Sour soup. WOW!!!! The smell and flavors were SOOO good! The hot & sour soup was done the most authentic way🤌🏽👏🏽 The dumplings were simply amazing, wonderful flavors. All for a small midweek lunch.

Really good dim sum, super friendly staff and fast service. The vibe could be a bit warmer, but honestly, we had great food and great friends — so it was awesome 😊

I really like the Cantonese dimsum in this restaurant because all the dimsum I tried are handmade and very delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere is family-friendly. I highly recommend the following: HarGow, SiuMai, Shrimp and Scallop SiuMai, Pork Ribs, Chicken Feet, Ham Sui Kok, Char Siu Bao, Sticky Rice, Combination Pan Fried Noodle, Seafood Pan Fried Noodle, Chicken Fat Rice Noodle, Beef Fat Rice Noodle.

I visited Jade Restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by how authentic and tasty everything was. The Szechuan Beef had a nice numbing spice and just the right amount of tang, and their House Special Fried Rice was loaded with fresh veggies and well-seasoned bits of pork. The Crispy Eggplant in Garlic Sauce stood out — tender inside, crispy outside, with a garlic punch.
The setting is straightforward and unpretentious (as it should be for a good Chinese place), and the staff were friendly and patient, taking the time to explain menu items when I asked. Portions were generous, prices fair — exactly the kind of local spot you’d want bookmarked for when you’re craving real Chinese food.

Best Chinese food I have found in Austin. My family and I drive in from South Austin to eat here. The Szechuan Pork Wontons are amazing and the kids eat a full order of Honey Walnut Shrimp each. Can’t say enough good things about the food, the people and the overall experience

Four of us here for dim sum Saturday 7/12/25. It was excellent, well prepared and a lot of choices. Since we traveled a lot we've had dim sum a lot of places, including San Francisco Chinatown, and this was as good as any and better than most. Our hostess and servers were friendly and attentive, and it was not crowded and noisy like some places. Altogether a pleasant and fun experience. Of course we'll be back. Edit-came for lunch Friday 08-08-25, ordered dim sum off the Appetizer menu. Plenty of variety and again it was excellent.

Food was pretty basic, I could get something way better. The prices are decent but the quality of the food just isn't there. All the dishes were bland and not great, I've tried many cantonese food in Austin and this is definitely at the bottom of the list.
