Lunch specials are the bomb!My family comes here regularly and is greeted by name when they visit. This is the first time in years that I've returned to the restaurant with my family. Quite honestly it's a hidden gem. The restaurant was fairly busy on arrival today but it was only a ten minute wait. Being that my family is so regular the host was super apologetic and did everything in her power to get us sat. Shout out to the host who's name I don't have because my father is terrible with names. There is a lunch special that ends at 3pm and the portions are HUGE. The beef fajita plate is a 9/10. So good. The fajita is so tender and tasty. Just an FYI - my father believes it's even tastier when it's ordered in the quesadilla. My brother always goes for the green enchiladas and adds an extra enchilada because it's just that good. My mother ordered the Vallarta special - chicken tostada paired with a green enchilada. Each plate that was ordered was super filling and tasty. While the restaurant was busy the service was quick and pleasant. The restaurant doesn't play any music but is nicely decorated. The outdoor patio is "instagram-able" but unfortunately it was cold and rainy today so didn't want to photograph it. Worth a visit!

I can't believe this place is still in business. Many yrs we gave it a try & said um nope. Well we tried again last night & it really is not great food. Ordered fajitas for one- might as well have ordered a sonic hamburger b/c that's the way the meat tasted. (Old meat-no flavor) The rice/beans/cheese/guac/sour cream were enough for one taco but paid $28! Ordered bean cheese chalupa Ala carte -hardly any beans on the shell! Ordered Al Pastor taco- old meat- tortilla & meat were not hot- barely warm! And the queso-HA!! You mean a piece of velveeta to fill a 4oz bowl and place it in the microwave for $9! Yah they can keep all that nastiness! Always had to wait for our drinks to be filled. Waitress-"anything else?". Us-"yes more drinks please"

My family and I came on Christmas Day and got seated with Olga. From beginning to end she made us feel at home. She was so warm and sweet and tended to our every need. The food was amazing and Olga recommended the best stuff and drinks. Such an amazing server, she made our experience the best! Thank you Olga!

The service was horrible - met my sister there and waited 20 mins for a water. Then come to find out they had already eaten so the server never came back, they girl who was suppose to take over hardly came to the table had to ask someone to get her to come to the table. Once we asked for the check the original server Marco brought our checks. I will not ever go back or recommend this place to anyone. This was prob the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant!

This was an on the fly pick using the Yelp app and it was a solid find for breakfast tacos. Even better they have a drive thru. 2 BEC and 2 CEC and they were very good! Extra star for using a whole piece of quality bacon. Chorizo tasted great and not overly greasy. Tortillas were fresh (don't think they are made in house) and the salsa was fantastic!

My husband and I always enjoy our visits here! We often sit at the bar and the bartenders have always been genuinely nice and attentive. We split the Jefe burrito because it's huge and full of meaty, cheesy goodness. Their chips and salsa and margaritas are also pretty good. The service has been consistent and the food comes out quickly. They have a decent happy hour too!

We are in Austin doing some house hunting and we were invited by family to have an early dinner here. I didn't pick the place and I didn't look at any reviews before heading there. I read reviews after the fact and was a little surprised at the overall rating and some of the poor reviews. First off, service was very good all the way through. Water, chips, salsa all brought to the table immediately. The menu has some good selections. I went off the traditional Mexican dish to try their grilled tilapia, we've been eating on the run a lot lately so the vegetable side sounded good. The rice, veggies, and grilled fish were delicious. I hate filling up on chips and salsa but I have to say, even those were very good. I threw that in late because I kept adding the salsa to my dish because it was that good. My wife had the mole enchiladas and I know they were good because she never offered me any! We had six people in the group and all the dishes looked good. Tortillas were plentiful and refilled mid way through. We had beers that were ice cold. We got there just before the dinner rush, it was really busy as we were leaving. 5 stars on a first visit for hitting all the important areas of service, quality, quantity, and a very good overall experience.

Mixed up our tortillas and took forever to bring them out. Over cooked out al pastor. I used to love their breakfast tacos as a kid :(

Used to come here all the time but this place has gone down hill, this is the last time. We ordered nachos and when we starting eating them realized that the chips were stale, after informing the waiter the manager came and pretty much told us we were lying he told us "look these are crunchy they aren't stale" so we tried to explain. We informed we did not want them if they could make more and he informed "no all the chips are like that". After all of that we received our bill and seen they were charging us for the nachos and charging us for 4 additional drinks. We again informed the manager and we steady argued with us for 10 minutes and tried to charge us for things we did not get. Once again the last time they will get our business, the manager is so rude.
