I travel for work a lot and always looking for good authentic food where I go and only can be found at that place I’m currently at. I can say in Austin Eastside this place is pretty great. I had the oxtail with rice/peas, veggies an and plantain. I must say everything was great. Oxtail is tender and the spices is just right. I give this place 10 out of 10! ??

First of all very overpriced for the portion you get, spent over $30 on the large portion which was not large at all - dry oxtail, beef patties are the ones u get at the supermarket frozen, paid $5 for 7 plantains only got 3, I would not recommend this place not authentic at all.

Food overpriced. They said $19 on the phone but $25 in person (weird) I paid with a $100 and the man and women both played as if they didn’t have change.. when I said I’ll pay another way, they laughed and said it’s a joke. Don’t play with my money. Another lady came and they made me wait even though my food was fixed on the counter getting cold. She didn’t want anything so they decided to cash me out. Ignorant af and I will never be back. People wonder why it’s harder to support black owned spots. Do better.

This is the best Jamaican food I have ever had and the jerk chicken oxtail plate is a a steal deal full of flavor but not too much to were it overwhelms the food. The service was fast and food was hot and a very fair price for the portions you pay for. Coming all the way from San

I'm sorry to say this but this isn't real Jamaican oxtail if you don't know the taste you would probably find this to be good. We were really disappointed after trying this food, if you are ever in Tallahassee try G&G's Jamaican Restaurant or Tropical Flava in Macon GA then give this another review.

First off- I love the food here. The j*** chicken FALLS OFF THE BONE ?? it’s very seasoned. I love the rice & cabbage as well. I always get extra plantains (sometimes they’re a little too hard) but overall always yummy ?Cons- this may sound funny but several times I have gone the server at the window has been singing and praying extremely loud with the window open & a loud speaker. It was cute for a second but me and my boyfriend were hoping to enjoy the sunset eating our food outside & the server seemed to be playing a full worship music set, belting, and praying out loud. Not only was it distracting but also kinda weird to hear someone praying like that at a business. No hate to them for their religion at all but time & place, please. It’s happened several times now so I don’t think I’ll sit & eat here anymore which is disappointing.
