Fantastic service, good wine recommendations, phenomenal food. Well worth what you are paying for. Highly recommend.

Food was great! I was blown away by the hospitality at this place. I recommend saving room for their dessert menu!

We celebrated our anniversary last night and the entire experience was top notch. We arrived a bit early and they were able to seat us at the bar for a couple of cocktails that were delicious. We ordered the crab & sesame beignet, lobster bisque, some fantastic steaks and the chocolate dessert. Would highly recommend!

Food was really good. Unfortunately service was a little slow, but the server was fantastic otherwise.

Everything at Jeffrey's was phenomenal. From the moment we arrived to the nicest and kindest valet you could ask for to the tea after dessert, no moment was less than spectacular. The popover bread with their ricotta and honey spread was DIVINE. The popcorn, which is served at the bar but you can get it at the dinner table, was so delicious! I ordered the truffle deviled eggs and they were amazing! The truffle is strong, but not overly so. If you don't like truffle you may not be a huge fan because you definitely taste it. Then for the entrees. Oh the entrees! I have never had a better steak in my life. Never. And I have had a lot of steak. I don't think that I will ever find a better one. I had the Legacy La Grange, Texas 12oz New York Strip and my husband got the Dean & Peele Floresville, Texas 8oz Tenderloin Filet. Both were perfectly cooked, perfectly prepared, perfectly presented. Perfect, perfect, perfect. We both got the onion ring on top and I got the Garlic and Rosemary Butter. I could go on for hours about these steaks, but the sides, they deserve all the praise too. We both got the steak fries and pommes puree. They were heavenly. I don't know what they do to make those potatoes so smooth and delicious but I don't think there is a better side dish out there. Then we finished with some in house made vanilla bean ice cream with house made whipped cream. It was exactly what we needed. Not to heavy but absolutely delicious. I also got a chamomile and lavender tea after diner and it was heavenly. The service was impeccable and the drinks were strong. All adding to the overall wonderful experience. Our server was very friendly and kind, her name was Megan. She is a rockstar! Such an incredible experience. All of it, everything. 10/10, 5 stars, no notes. Do yourself a favor and just go yourself so you can enjoy this one of kind gem.

Drove in from out of town to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and our experience couldn't have been more phenomenal! As soon as you walk up to the restaurant you're greeted with excellence and top notch hospitality. Our server Collin used his extensive wine knowledge to help us pick out the perfect bottle of bubbles to start and a fabulous Margaux that paired beautifully with our entrees. We started off with the escargot feuilletes for our hors d'oeuvres that absolutely melted in your mouth! We then moved on to the crispy fried gulf oysters and smoked scallop carpaccio - the carpaccio housed complex flavor and texture and the batter on the oysters was to die for! Afterwards we enjoyed the lobster bisque..one of the best we've ever had! Great value for how much lobster is served (which was poached to perfection) and for how perfect the vol au vent pastry was executed! For the main entrees my husband ordered the Niman Ranch Midwest dry aged bone in strip. Cooked to the perfect med rare, the steak was tender, juicy, with an underlying smoky flavor that just left you going back for more! Although he ordered additional sauces and toppings, he ate the whole 24oz steak without any of the added accompaniments. I enjoyed the duck and it was the best representation of duck that I've ever had! Unbeatable tenderness and an array of flavor that was so perfectly conceptualized! We paired the steak fries and brussels with our meal and if you're going to order any sides I would 100% recommend those two! Lastly, we ended the evening with the chocolate soufflé and apple tarte tatin! We'd been dying to try a chocolate soufflé and Jeffery's completely surpassed our expectations! It was hard to pass up ordering a tarte tatin and I'm so happy we didn't! Another perfect example of their amazing pastry work, balancing sweet flavors and refined textures! Overall, I think it's safe to say that this is now mine and my husband's favorite restaurant and we can't wait to return!

Probably my favorite steakhouse in the world. But $1100 for 3 people is too much to pay when servers are forgetting things left and right.

Really nice staff but I don’t get the hype. I found the appetizers to be fairly flavorless and overpriced, and the steak at Perry’s is better (and of course way better value). The only outstanding dish was the broccoli side.

Very disappointing experience with Jeffrey's. Booked for my husband's birthday on 8/29 well ahead of time and confirmed twice prior to coming in. Waited for over 30 min and were never sat for dinner. The host checked in with us once, about 5-10 minutes after our reservation time, and the rest of the time we went up one by one to find out if our table was ready. We weren't given a clear answer and no one was willing to accommodate us. It's a shame, because we were looking forward to experiencing Jeffrey's on this special occasion.

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, but also gives the most authentic traditional white glove service in town.

There are no bad seats.

I went on my own - I really wanted lobster bisque and to feel taken care of.

I was well met with both here.

The bartender was fantastic. I had never sat in front of her before but she made me feel like I was a well respected and regarded guest of many years.

The food, service, and ambiance are all top notch.

It was the perfect place to come feel enveloped in care and good taste.

Solid decaf cappuccino, a preferred way to end a meal for me, which only added to feeling of indulged comfort.

I will be back.
Update: And I have been. Again. And again. And again. Now when I just pop in the hosts know me and can let me know on the spot if they can fit me in. They know my phone number and can automatically fill in my information. The service here is simply unmatched. Bravo. Special love for Finn the manager of the bar area with such fineness.

We booked Jeffrey's for 4 people celebrating two 70th birthdays (young 70's). The food was delicious and the service was ok, not the usual for Jeffreys. We arrive at 7:30 and our main course did not arrive until almost 9:30pm. We asked our server where the food was around 8:45 - we had long finished our apps and salads. We saw the wine decanting, but never served. The sides arrived 10 minutes before the steaks. As compensation, we were offered numerous desserts, but by that point, it was just too late. I had to keep reminding the wait staff that we had two big birthdays. It was listed in my reservation and the reception called to confirm. We do love a leisurely meal, but when you're done with cocktails, drinking water, waiting on wine, server disappeared, and an hour later the food arrives in the wrong order, it's disappointing.

We went for my boyfriend's 30th birthday celebration. All the food was impeccable and the wine we got selected for us was delicious. They even brought a sweet birthday cake dessert. We'll definitely be back! I wish you guys had matchbooks though as I collect them. I talked to someone at the front and they said they have been on back order for awhile . :(

I've lived in Austin most of my life and adult me had never been to Jeffrey's. I finally got the pleasure to dine at this establishment. The food, drinks, and staff really make it a five star experience.
