If this app had 6 stars or more I would definitely give it to Jim Jim's. I've been coming to this place since I was in kindergarten. That's over 10+ years ago. I've loved this place ever since.the environment is amazing and it's like family honestly. The snow cone are so so so so good. The service here is unmatched. Always going the extra mile and making sure they make their customers smile.

First time trying Jim-Jim's! Very good water ice! Good flavors, natural tasting. The passion fruit tasted more like guava though. A large water ice (no ice cream inside) is $7.00, kind of pricey!!

A straight forward, no frills place to serve fantastic ice cream in Austin area. I had the soft-serve and it was the best tasting ice cream I've had in years. I literally came everyday to get this. My friends ordered the Italian Water Ice and they said it was phenomenal. This place needs more stars.

In the summer heat this is definitely something you want to get. However, you would have to eat it quick as it will melt pretty fast. I got the Italian ice with vanilla ice cream. I love the mix between the icy and vanilla. As it melts, it makes a very creamy drink as well, they have a lot of flavors, so definitely have to go back and try. When I went, you can only order outside and eat it outside, as indoors was not open.

Staff is always awesome, and you can't go wrong with any flavor you choose. Highly recommend whatever you do, get coconut crème at some point. Soooo good!!!

Delicious, the ice is the best consistency, it's literally everything you want. I really love new orleans style snow cones (snow balls) and I'd say that this is different, but related. The problem with snow cones and such is when the Ice is too chunky and all the syrup runs right through. This does not happen with theirs. Soo good. It's my favorite ice treat in Austin so far

My husband and I love this place. We went here 4 days in a row. Great portions. I love the ice cream inside. Ice was soft.

We stopped here on our way to doing a duck tour. They were just opening up but we're nice to get right to taking our order. We had a variety of items, and liked all of them. It's a small mom & pop type place with a walk up window. Go try it!

Snow comes spots in Austin seem so hard to come by and I was excited to find Jim-Jim's. Now I will say if your looking for a cooling snow one this this your spot. But by no means is this the best snow cone or even what I would consider a snow cone. First everything is premade and drowning in sweetness so the fresh shaved ice is missing. I was happy to have something refreshing while walking midday downtown but also just not impressed. The service was friendly and the ambiance well it's what you expect on sixth st.

I was reading some of the two and three star reviews and thought to myself "what fun haters. How can anyone leave a bad review about popular ice cream place?? ". And then my experience was a 3 -tops :(I had hoped for so much more. I walked .4 miles in 103 degree Austin heat... and I'd have paid that much just for the brief periods of cold in my mouth- but actual deliciousness would've helped greatly. The orange "creamsicle" tasted like a bunch of chemicals, I thought it was supposed to be of real fruit. And Very little ice cream. It was like a couple melted popsicles with a very small bit of ice cream in between another layer of melted Popsicles For $8 I expected some quality. I was disappointed.

Jim's is a like a snowcone stand but with something called water ice. Never had it until a few weeks ago, and I'll never eat a regular snowcone again! Super Smooth texture and awesome flavor. You can mix and match flavors and add cream or ice cream to them as well. Staff is always friendly and happy to help. I've been at least 10 times in the last 2 weeks as it's near a building I am Working on. Highly recommend it for you and the kids if your near by. Only down side is there are alot of homeless in the area. This is through no fault of Jim's but rather the city of Austin's bad decisions. Don't let that stop you though, just lock your car.
