They were short handed and breakfast set under the heat lamps too long. My scrambled eggs were dry and the hash browns texture was off. I gave 5 stars for service because it wasn't the waitresses fault. She was a very good waitress but overworked.

Very friendly staff and very friendly guests as well foods actually hot when you receive it and there like mind readers the waitresses always show up when you need something and everything is cooked well. Love this place it's my favorite place in all of Austin Texas.
Parking: Never had issues with parking

The chili here is the best. Dinners and sandwiches are also very good. Love the old fashioned architecture and diner cuisine.

Had a lovely experience this morning trying Jim's for the first time. This is 100% our new breakfast spot!!! Customer service was spot on and food definitely hit the spot. We will definitely come again.

Having my car worked on next door so my senior Father and I went in to wait and have some lunch. Excellent food and service! We had the home made Apple Pie and we had the chili - excellent. Who knew Jim's was still rockin it in Austin. I was told to come back at Thanksgiving for home made pie - will do!

everytime i order from this specific jims they always skip out on one of my two platters, and every single time the food is tuff and over cooked. get it right, im never coming back to this store again. 2 hours waiting for food just for it to be thrown in a box with no utensils.
