My catfish and shrimp were good. The Texas toast had way too much butter. My potatoes were cold. The coleslaw was 7/10. My waiter didn’t notice my water was empty for a while. I debated 2 stars but went with 3.

Jim’s is great for what you want. I’m from Jersey and this is the closest thing I’ve had to a diner-experience since moving to Texas.Pancakes are great, bacon and over-easy eggs were also good.The Texas Omelette was greasy, but that’s sort of what you get for ordering the omelette with three breakfast meats in it.Biscuits were ok, but I don’t really care about biscuits so ?♂️Our server (I think his name was Daiton) was top-notch and deserves recognition.If you want fine-dining, go somewhere else. If you want a classic breakfast at a great price and a friendly atmosphere this is the spot.Would definitely go back.

The crew at store #11 in Austin is absolutely great. Keith, Danny, Oscar, Jinger, Scott, Mario, Ray, and the entire crew are so nice and professional and always make us feel at home when we visit. We dine in at this Jim's every Sunday and often grab to-go orders during the work week. The food and service is always great and has always been since 2001! It is obvious the management team at this store truly cares about providing their customers with a pleasant dining experience. They have a good mixture of seasoned veterans and new faces that combine to give you an experience that will bring you back time and time again!!
The food here is always amazing!!! They have a nice variety for breakfast and fantastic biscuits!!! When I lived closer I would go at least once a week!!!

This place was pretty gross and run down. I took my family here for breakfast and a big hairy moth was crawling behind the 10 foot blinds at our booth, which was covered in decades of food splatter, before it flew out and onto my wife's menu.
