This is a great spot for the classic diner experience. You are literally walking into something from like 1979. The food is usually excellent but not always, never inedible, just depends on who’s in the kitchen. The waiters and waitresses are totally nice and you might even swear you heard someone say “kiss my grits” in the back ground. Excellent chicken fried steak. Delicious diner style breakfast and the lunch/dinner menu looks great. Waited less than 10 minutes on a Saturday morning at 9:00. Service was perfect.
This place has what we lost as a society. A place with free parking, a short wait time, and affordable dining. This is what comfort dining used to and SHOULD be. The options are no frills but satisfying. This is THEE PLACE you go to for your after Church fix. Whether it be a late breakfast, or good ol’ Cruisin’ Cuisine Americana served on a warm platter; Jim’s got you covered.
