Made a quick stop for some sweet tea and had to try the Mac n cheese and a slice of the banana cream pie. Mac n cheese was amazing and then I tried the pie… 10/10. Phenomenal! Can’t wait to come back and try everything else!

Got 2 tacos. Best Tacos I’ve ever had. Perfect Post workout meal.

Good brisket and ribs, but far from great. Ribs were good, but the meat was fatty. Portions were sadly skimpy for the price. Sides unspectacular. The sandwich may be your best bet.

World-class barbecue. So glad I found this on Google Maps due to its insanely high rating (and high rating elsewhere). They were not wrong/inflated. Can't believe this isn't mobbed. I wouldn't be surprised if this became a Texas barbecue destination soon.

Loved everything. Don't miss the brisket, sausage, beef rib, turkey, or scalloped potatoes!

Oh and there's a great bar next door (Rock House) with plenty of space to eat AND a great playground for kids!

One of the best texas bbq we've ever tasted! I love their brisket coz its moist and yummy! Deserves a 5 star!! They are very professional and friendly too! Lastly, their banana cream pie? -delicioso!!! 👌

If you're looking for some of the best BBQ in Austin, look no further then Jim's Smokehouse! The brisket was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, while the ribs fell right off the bone. The homemade sauces were perfect. Enjoyed the spicy vinegar sauce, which added just the right kick.

The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our experience was top-notch. Don’t forget to try the sides; the coleslaw and mac 'n' cheese were standout dishes.

Overall, Jim’s Smokehouse delivers authentic Texas BBQ that’s hard to beat. I can't wait to return for more!

Sriracha coleslaw 5/5: was amazing. probably the best I’ve ever had. If not, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had.

Brisket sandwich 4/5 : it was good, but I think the brisket was dry. With that being said will I order it again? Absolutely. Did I think it was on the dryer end ? Unfortunately yes. But I will be back because it was actually good. I’m hopeful that next time it’s more moist.

Short and simple. I stopped to get some jicama and brisket sandwiches which were so awesome and fresh when you were in Spicewood. The new location at Cedar Park sucks. I bought the big jicama and it was old and bad. The brisket sandwiches tasted funny and got my wife sick. If your not selling food please throw it out and not try and sell it to people. That's just low. I spentv$45 for crap. I don't think i want to stop by your food truck anymore. I should stick to restaurants which have standards.

The BBQ spot is fine. We ordered baby back ribs, brisket, and the Maui Waui taco. The brisket was good and moist, and the baby back ribs were sweet and tangy. The dish was too peppery for my taste. The taco didn’t have the flavor of a classic one; it was actually too meaty. For some people, having it packed with more meat would be a great advantage, but we prefer the more traditional style. I wouldn’t say we were impressed by the flavors, but the BBQ was good. The service was excellent. I would recommend this place.

Been coming here a few years and it’s never disappointed, tried their ribs today and they’ll have you licking the bone clean. Great place with a great story behind it! Mac and cheese has a nice kick to it!

By far the best barbecue in the area unfortunately I walked away from my plate for something like 20 seconds and my dog ate all my brisket! The ribs are absolutely succulent the brisket is juicy the Sriracha coleslaw is amazing and probably the best chili I've ever had

I’d heard whispers about Jim's from Interstellar BBQ regulars, but despite being just 15 minutes away, I'd never ventured there. What a mistake that was! This unassuming food truck is serving up some seriously good barbecue.

The stars of the show are undoubtedly the turkey and ribs - both absolute perfection, earning a solid 10/10. The meat is tender, flavorful, and cooked to smoky excellence. Don't miss the scalloped potatoes either; they're a standout side that also deserves top marks.

While the mac and cheese is good (8/10), it doesn't quite reach the lofty heights of the other offerings. The only real disappointment was the brisket, which fell short of expectations at around 6/10.

Despite the brisket hiccup, Jim's Smokehouse BBQ is a must-visit for any local barbecue enthusiast. The turkey alone is worth the trip, and I'm already planning my next visit. This little food truck proves that sometimes the best flavors come from unexpected places.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
