The moist brisket was super flavorful and of course moist. The jicama slaw was so good. Loves the pulled pork mac n cheese too.
After seeing the extremely high rating for one of the top food trucks in the nation, I had to give Jim's a try. I pre-ordered a pound of moist brisket online and it was available for pickup expeditiously.
When I went to pick up my order, the gentleman was very welcoming and accommodating.
The brisket was, indeed, moist and I was impressed with the quality of the meat. I thought both sauces were really flavorful and I look forward to the opportunity where I can try more of their menu at a later time.
Highly recommend!
We found this place after heading to interstellar only to find it was closed. Parked and walked up to the trailer window. The lean brisket taco was excellent. And the corn side dish was good as well. Take your meal into the rock bar which is next door and wash your meal down with a beer in the ac. If you don’t do that then bring your fly swatter because there are a bunch of them by the outside tables by the trailer.
Jim smokehouse was chosen by yelp as the second best food trailer in the United States, so I had to go check it out. It’s a very unassuming food trailer on 620, right next to the thunder clouds and the barbecue is great. I’m not sure about being the number two trailer in the entire nation, but it’s definitely very very good. I went when I wasn’t really hungry so I just got a couple of things to try them and everything was good, especially the brisket. They have two different kinds of sauces and serve everything with pickles and onions. There are a bunch of picnic tables out front which are shared with a couple of other food trailers. Parking was not great, but it was not a huge problem, you park on the side of a small frontage road that runs in front of them.
Visiting ATX, had to have bbq. Found this place. Awesome bbq. Had the Dino-Beef rib, pork ribs, brisket, and burnt chicken ends. You can eat at the bar next door. They being the food to you and you can enjoy a cold beer at the bar inside. Great hospitality at the bar. Got free entertainment watching the bartender kill flies with a salt gun. Nice guy and super friendly. Highly recommend getting great bbq and cold refreshments next door.
Do yourself a favor and don’t let your taste buds miss this BBQ joint! Grabbed tacos from Jim’s food truck at Four Points land they were absolutely amazing, packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Thank y’all for being there, can’t wait to come back!
The bacon jam is amazing. I'm really picky with BBQ because d i compare it to my own. But this was some if the best damned BBQ I've had.
Everything was stellar! The service was absolutely top tier! The guy who took our order was extremely helpful. Told us we could go sit and he would bring us our food. I got the 2 meat plate with Mac n cheese & scalloped potatoes. My wife got a chopped brisket sandwich. I came back for the banana cream pie for dessert.
Food was amazing and I’m glad we found this little spot!
Hands down some of the best tacos I've ever had. I highly recommend. Don't miss out on this
Made a quick stop for some sweet tea and had to try the Mac n cheese and a slice of the banana cream pie. Mac n cheese was amazing and then I tried the pie… 10/10. Phenomenal! Can’t wait to come back and try everything else!

Good brisket and ribs, but far from great. Ribs were good, but the meat was fatty. Portions were sadly skimpy for the price. Sides unspectacular. The sandwich may be your best bet.

World-class barbecue. So glad I found this on Google Maps due to its insanely high rating (and high rating elsewhere). They were not wrong/inflated. Can't believe this isn't mobbed. I wouldn't be surprised if this became a Texas barbecue destination soon.
Loved everything. Don't miss the brisket, sausage, beef rib, turkey, or scalloped potatoes!
Oh and there's a great bar next door (Rock House) with plenty of space to eat AND a great playground for kids!
