Ok, I truly feel ripped off. If 1 slice of brisket, 1 al pastor pork rib & 2 sides for $22.5 before tax & and tip is your kind of thing, then this is your place. What a rip-off!

Not sure how anyone can give JNL BBQ less than a five star review. 10/5 for me… Little backstory - I believe they opened just before the pandemic. They were established at Buzzmill during that time.. And they persevered, stayed open, stayed safe, and stayed feeding the neighborhood with amazing bbq - I personally drooled over grabbing a rack of ribs but I had to contain myself to only once a week during quarantine.. They took a little dip over the river and ultimately came back to Buzzmill. This is hands-down, one of the best bbq spots in the Austin area. (Disclaimer) Get it before it turns into another BBQ spot thats a 2 hour wait.

Wowza!!! Was hanging out around the area late at night and found this local gem open.

Delicious! We got the pepper jack brisket on Texas buttery toast with chipotle sauce …oof, can’t wait to get it again!

Also got the pulled pork burger which comes with a great amount of pickles.

Yummy spot. We were recommended the fries so will have to come back for that.

I am pleased as punch that JNL has returned home to The Buzz Mill. They are now open 7 days a week. Burgers, wings, chopped beef, pulled pork sandwiches, and loaded fries Monday through Wednesday. Thursday through Sunday traditional barbecue for lunch and bar menu for nights. Sunday is full barbecue and brunch till 3:00.

I stopped by today for my lite afternoon snack that consisted of a Chopped Brisket sandwich with a side of Mom's Green Beans and a Training Bines draft from The Buzz Mill.

Now that they are open 7 days a week, I can visit more often and although I have tried almost everything on the menu, I am looking forward to checking out their loaded fries, chopped brisket or pulled pork with cheddar cheese sauce.

P.S. Let me add their revised hours,

4-10 Monday - Wednesday.
11- 10 Thursday - Saturday.
11- 3 Sunday.

Damn good brisket, one of the best sandwhiches I’ve had in Austin. Don’t skip on the fries.
