We went for lunch. This place was awesome, it had a very nice atmosphere and the girls attending were kind. The food was also very tasty as well as their lattes, we had their Texas Wagyu Hot Dog and Corned Beef Sandwich, the corned beef sandwich has a strong pickled flavor and spicy (or you can skip the jalapeños) so if you like that I’ll definitely recommend trying it. They also give you a great amount of fries that we couldn’t even finish them but not a problem at all!
They have plenty options of seating, inside with the tables, bar, counter and booth. Outside they have tables and high stools.

Team here did a great job on a Sunday morning. Had a couple tacos (potato and a bacon) plus a phenomenal hot latte.
Really quick service that didn’t sacrifice quality.

I ordered an arnold palmer and ice latte online for pickup and when I got to the shop, I waited for 15 min before I realized my drinks were probably forgotten about. Sure enough, when I finally got the attention of one of the baristas, he saw that the ticket had just been laying on the counter. Both of the drinks were awful. I feel like the location on SoCo is a little better, but this was a disappointment.

They are a huge mess right now and it seems like business as usual to the staff. Waited over 35 minutes for breakfast on a normal busy Sunday, nothing crazy. Music blasting on their patio and two other businesses nearby made the patio a miserable experience along with the overflowing trashcan that staff ignored the entire time we were there. When asked about the wait after about 30 minutes, the staff were dismissive, entirely unapologetic. I had to ask staff for a wet rag to wipe all of the spilled food off of the table, which they just handed to me and allowed me to do.
Everyone there acts like this is their first day at their first job. I’ve been coming here for years and this was it. The place was a mess and a completely sucky experience for all customers. I saw someone else demanding a refund. Probably the worst dining experience I’ve had in years. Won’t be back!

Yum yum! The iced turbo is the ticket to sweet, creamy, chocolaty caffeine. Nice ambiance and speedy service. We got there at a busy hour and hardly had to wait in line!

I just moved to Austin and was looking for a breakfast spot with outdoor seating. Jo’s Coffee has great coffee, delicious breakfast options, and very reasonable prices for Downtown Austin. Definitely coming back!

I basically live across the street and would love to come here a few times a week, but I haven't been in a year. The last few times I went there the service was so incredibly bad it was insulting. Not only do the front of house staff seem burdened by having to do their jobs, but are condescending. In one instance, I ordered breakfast and, when it was brought to me, it was in a to-go box. I know for a fact I did not order my meal to go. I politely pointed out that I had ordered to my meal to dine in. The server didn't say a word, sighed, rolled her eyes, took my food into the kitchen and just inverted the to-go box, dumping my food onto a plate. When she served it again, it was just a mound of mixed up eggs, potatoes, and bacon. This is not the only instance of horrible service I've encountered, just an example.
The food is decent, but it's not worth being in a restaurant where the staff disdains you.

Joe’s Coffee in downtown Austin is the perfect spot to grab a quality cup in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. ☕ With friendly staff, great coffee, and comfortable seating, it’s ideal for relaxing or getting work done. Its central location makes it easy to explore the nearby shops and sights.

I dined in at 9:30am on a Saturday. Wasn’t too busy, still many tables available. I had the fried egg sandwich, cookie, and iced latte. All were awesome. The sandwich was very filling and cooked excellently. The iced latte was superb and exceeded my expectations. The cookie was of course, also delish. My only complaint is the people who come in super sweaty after their workouts (put some deodorant on people, lol). Otherwise, awesome experience. Very friendly staff too. I will return!
