Decent coffee but people at the window Always comment / compliment something when we drive thru. It's a running joke with us and sort of uncomfortable. I just want my coffee, not three separate compliments on my shirt. Maybe it's just me!

I usually really like this place. Unfortunately, today at around 8:20, I came by the drive thru, waited my turn, ordered my iced turbo, and then proceeded to sit in the drive through looking at my drink through the window (it was ready and sitting there) while both the cashier and the barista that were visible from the drive thru window made someone else’s drink. I sat and waited in the drive thru, looking at my drink that was already ready, ice melting, for a few minutes before they opened the window and gave me my order.
It sucked, and I don’t think it should have happened. Being busy and waits happen, but my drink was ready and I was made to wait for the person behind me’s beverage to be finished before I received my own. I really have never had to wait for the person who is line behind me’s coffee to be done before I got my own before (barring unusual circumstances, of course). Is this the typical drink-making procedure for this coffee shop?

Asking for a tip at a drive-thru is wild.

This review is for the higher ups at Jo’s! My rating has nothing to do with the staff here they are incredibly friendly and awesome! I love how conveniently located this location is too! The one I think would make this place perfect is if the owners invested in increasing the quality of the food and drinks here. The coffee and tea drinks always fall a little flat for me, it seems like the coffee is very diluted so it feels like you’re just drinking milk a lot of the times. I suspect it’s due to the owners cutting corners. This place is good for the convenience and customer service but I don’t think the food and drinks here are really worth the price. I think they should increase the quality of everything to reflect the price.

Overfilled my coffee and it spilled all over me hot in my car
One of my favorite coffee shops in Austin. The coffee, food and atmosphere are always great, but its the staff that keeps me coming back. Everyone is always so kind and welcoming. Definitely recommend this local, Queer-owned business!

Fast pace drive thru is a plus on any day , customer service was crappy and it effected my food because I ordered a caramel pecan cappuccino and got a espresso shot in a cappuccino cup smh. My breakfast sandwich was huge with raw bacon , I bet if my food was fully cooked it would've been satisfying . The employee in drive thru made this experience dull and a waste of time and money ?

I love Jo’s iced turbos, but they need to reconsider their taco pricing or improve how they’re made- I got 1 migas taco and 1 hash brown taco and all I could taste was egg and cheese (no hash brown, no tortilla strips and pico), and only a scoop of filling at $4 each, both having excess tortilla.
I recently moved to Austin and have been working out and going to the coffee shop before work this week, making a self love schedule. For the first visit, I had a kind young lady that welcomed me and was informative on the roast and process for their great coffee. The other two visits I've been met with an older lady that talks about me to her coworkers, they stop look at me point act like they are doing something to harm me and then laugh giggle run and hide behind their counters and walls, as grown women. As a 38 yr old mother of three, I don't think this is the first Ike I've seen this childish behavior, but I am also not getting paid to bully, gossip, slander and mistreat guests that pay to have their cups filled. This place, as a non binary woman, in her latethirties, feels like a clique coffee shop, they have been very unfair and ugly towards me when I have made advances to want to be there this weekend before work in the am's. I hope their cups are filled to the point that is past a paycheck or ego death.

Great little place with good coffee and great atmosphere. Super nice and honest folks kept my wallet safe when I dropped it there and didn’t realize until the next day. I am a big fan!

Would be a solid 3 star. However I've noticed 2 out of the last 3 times I've been that 2 separate baristas have punched in their own tip. Super illegal. This was in the drive through. Watch out!
