What a pleasant surprise to enter the new space of Josephines kitchen, the service very friendly, the food delicious (the photos of the menu do not do it justice) my recommendation is the Cuban cake although the eggs Benedict cough with barbecue are not far behind, super recommended

We liked going to Josephine House which is within walking distance of our house. I took a long-time client and friend there for brunch. She and have been supportive of the restaurant since opened. Unfortunately, I feel like the MML group is trying very hard to build wealth and an empire of restaurants not paying attention to what is making them money. The food is very mixed and not good. I feel an obligation to speak out. The service was good and I tipped 25% but the food was not that good. We ordered three brunch items neither one of the dishes were good. Even the coffee was not good. Knowing it is hard to get a reservation and very expensive I was disappointed. A year ago I quit going to Sweetish Hill for the same reason, the food quality was mixed. Then later I learned their focus was to buy all the real estate on the block and build 10 million dollar condos, not the food. That is called forgetting core of your business and focus.??

Fantastic brunch! Great service and so cozy on a chilly morning (the heat lamp system is very well executed- have no fear of sitting outdoors in any weather)! Make sure to start with a pastry (orange cardamom cake is incredible)!

One of my favorite Austin spots. It has so much atmosphere, whether seated inside or out, and fabulous food. Stevie was very engaging. Love those lemon ricotta pancakes. Pomegranate cardamom spritz is very refreshing. They make their own syrups. This place has never been cheap but it's a case of getting what you pay for. With unlimited time and money I'd visit very frequently.

Ana was great, she took wonderful care of me and my friends! That brunch kicked off my girlfriend's birthday in the best of ways. Food was awesome, and all suggestions were on point! Thank y'all!

Beware: The outdoor area was uncomfortably warm even at 11:00 AM. I enjoyed the friendly staff and the food was good. I appreciated the creative approach. The portions were perfect as well.
Excellent service. Food presentation is excellent. I wish there were at least a few vegan options. The cost of trading 1/2 of an avocado with black spots isn't the same $$ as chicken on my salad.
I celebrated my Birthday and did reservation for 2 pm. Staff doesn't notify me that kitchen be closed at 2:30 and by time I want to order desert, kitchen has been already closed. I was very upset

Highly recommend the blueberry banana bread and Nutella morning bun!! The avocado toast is great since the avocados are spread on the toast instead of sliced, which I really liked.

Cozy, quaint and quality meal. Salmon on crispy crusty golden hash brown and just the perfect tang of lemon and capers! Yum! The lemon ricotta pancakes were airy, and delightfully creamy at once! We will see you next time!
