Juicy Claws - Stumbled upon this hidden gem in Austin and it was love at first bite! The owner is super welcoming and friendly, and the food is seriously delicious. We devoured the Babylon snail, seafood fried rice, fried calamari, and grilled jumbo squid on our first visit, and we were hooked. We came back a few days later to try more, and the grilled wild boar was phenomenal!
Honestly, everything we've had there has been amazing. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back for more whenever we’re in the area!

The raw oysters were not freshly shucked. They were raw yes, but tasted like they are from the preserved jar like you see from the supermarket. They were placed on half shells which are props because the scallops that attach the meat to the shell were missing. You shouldn’t cheat customers like this- whoever ordered raw oysters on half shells have eaten them many many times. They all know what the real stuff taste like. Also ordered the seafood hot pot. Huge disappointment- some of the seafood hasn’t even been defrost yet, maybe that’s why it’s taking them 30 mins to bring it out. And we paid over $100 for this terrible meal for 2 not even full. What a waste.

Wanted to love this place unfortunately it was a flop. Not only was it overpriced the food was subpar… we got the garlic butter crab leg boil and it tasted like sweet spaghetti sauce.

After watching a movie at Southwest Theater, we made our first trip to Juicy Claws. The cuisine was delicious! Everything tasted fantastic and was fresh! The ambiance and service were excellent! My family thoroughly enjoyed their meal at Juicy Claws! Without a doubt, we'll return soon! I'm hoping they continue! Finding a good restaurant in town is difficult, particularly in this neighborhood!

What a weekday special. $39 for assortment seafood boil. Choose from 4 combos. I got 1lb crawfish, 1 dozen jumbo shrimp & 1 crab cluster. Kids loved the popcorn shrimp. Mango salad surf clam salad was light and flavorful.

If you're craving real Vietnamese food with your family & friend, this is the spot. Jumbo squid & seafood fried rice must be a try. And don't forget to mention about seafood boil which is really standout. The staff were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting—perfect for a chill night out, especially for weekend. Five stars all the way!
