Classic classic Austin Chinese food. Highly recommend this.
The food is consistent. I love the noodles, the dumplings, and the soups all the same. And I get it as both take-out and dine-in. However I will warn you that the place can get quite busy so be aware that they might even run out of seats.

Favorite noodle spot in Austin. I always get the spicy suan tsai noodles, either rice noodles or hand pulled. The sourness is perfect. Other good dishes I like here are the xiao long baos and beef noodle soup.

Fantastic noodles, the best I've had. Great dumplings too. Everything is made from scratch.

This place’s noodle soups make me homesick for a place I’ve never even been. Infinitely cozy, affordable, and makes your stomach warm as a fireplace.
Update: Had the Malatang here and I think I saw the face of god

Very friendly environment. Food are authentic, noodles are handmade. I like their spicy mix(don't think that's the official name) the best.

Julie's is one of the best places in Austin. If you're going with a group, I recommend getting multiple items to share. The soup dumplings are the best soup dumplings I've had. The spicy beef noodle soup is so spicy and delicious (and actually spicy, if you're a spicy lover). The beef roll, fried dumplings, and scallion pancake are also top favorites.

Came here based on ratings but found it to be overrated. Atmosphere is low and they ask for tips on minimal service at checkout. It’s pretty much an all service place.

This place is always delicious — their malatang is my favorite. However, today the chicken in the chicken chow mein had an off smell. I felt it was better not to eat it. 😢 Since it's summer, I hope more care will be taken with the ingredients. The dumplings are always great, though. I’ll definitely visit again.
