Tofu kimbap was bland, tofu did not not seem seasoned. Bibimbap is also bland. Menu is unclear that the japchae comes with meat. Will not return.

Visited this restaurant a second time, and has a much better experience. I had the Dduk Boki and milk tea before, and it had rice that was too clumpy and the milk tea was too small for what you are paying for it (you have to pay extra for boba balls as well). I had the Beef Bulgogi bowl this past time I visited, and it is really good. They may have improved the Dbuk Boki the past year, but I can definitely recommend the Beef Bulgogi bowl.

low-quality ingredients like spam and instant noodles used, or at least that's what it tasted like

Food quality has plummeted almost as fast as the service quality has.I used to order the bulgogi bowl with an extra egg and extra sauce. Some of the best bulgogi I've ever had but in the last 2 years just about everything likeable is gone. The meat is insanely dry. It used to include mixed veggies and now it has like 3 green onions slices.I used to call in to place my orders and the service was awesome! I'd come in and the person working the counter was extremely nice. Now you aren't allowed to call in and you have to order online and pay a convenience fee for the inconvenience. The sauces are the only redeeming quality and they use so much mayo I feel like that's the only flavor I taste if I get a bite of everything. It's so disappointing that a restaurant that I looked so forward to and would order on a weekly basis for 3 years is now at a place that I don't think I'll ever want to go back. I hope whatever has happened in the last 5 years gets reversed.I do not recommend this place in Austin when there's so much better Korean food options. (Especially when you're paying nearly $20 minimum per person!)

This was the worst boba I've ever had in my life. It was completely raw, hard, and undercooked. I don't know if it's because I ordered Taiwanese boba from a Korean restaurant. The honeydew flavor was good as it tasted like Korean melon bars. The bulgogi bowl wasn't that great. Portions were large and included a sunny side egg. But the flavor was bland where it wasn't covered with sauce. I've had better bulgogi elsewhere. They added japchae with rice inside the bowl, which I thought was weird. My suggestion would be to put one or the other, not both. K-Flop.

Perhaps because the owner has changed, I was ordering kimchi stew and then kimchi soup arrived.I used to come here really often, but I don't think I'll ever come back again.San Marcos K BOP has delicious kimchi stew.

Delicious. It's been a while since I looked for pork cutlet, and Gimcheon came to mind, and I thought it would be good. It lives up to expectations. There is a decent amount of meat and the rice is a bit overcooked, but this is just right. (It looks like it was rice cooked in a rice bowl, not steamed rice like in a Chinese restaurant.) I also ordered kimchi for $1. It tastes like commercially available kimchi and the amount is moderately large. The kimchi was a bit overripe, so I was okay with it. I ordered takeout and was happy to eat it because they served it with sauce separately. I liked that the sauce wasn't too sweet. I'll try other menu items next time.I was craving for some pork katsu for a while. The expectation was what I used to have at a Korean variety diner - and I got just that so I'm satisfied. Decent portions, good taste. I added Kimchi as a side and it was good too. It's a slightly 'femented' version - which just means it's been left to sit in the fridge for a while for more taste - and I prefer it, but some may find it too flavorful. It's only costs $1 to add it so may be worth a try. Definitely would revisit the place.

I'm planning to come after mass at the church right next door.I went in to see if it closed at the time posted on the door. The older Asian man behind the counter was very unfriendly and called the man working behind him to answer our questions.I felt bad because the guy at the counter was so unfriendly, so I didn't go back there and ate at a Korean restaurant in the food court nearby. You must know that if you serve poorly, customers will not come.
