Ka-Prow Thai and Sushi Bistro

I had a duck dish to me it did not seem fresh. My daughter had a dish that she enjoyed.

They were nice and quick, but the food was greasy and not really flavorful. It was also a little pricey for the quantity and especially for the quality.

I was wondering how this place can be so empty on a Friday night and I realized why the sushi was not fresh more like H-E-B packed sushi. I ordered pad se ew very doll doesn’t have any flavor and they barely put any chicken. Seems like a nice people, but I will not recommend, They used to be better..

We just ordered some of the sushi for pickup. It was TERRIBLE. Unfortunately, the restaurant is now closed for the night, so we can't take it back. But if we could, I would. There was a lot wrong with the sushi, but a few things really stood out:
- There was a foul, rancid taste to the crab in the spider roll. Not sure if it was burned, or if its gone off. I guess I'll report back if we get sick or not.
- The spicy tuna is BROWN. See photo. This is not fresh. Unfortunately, one of my dining partners actually ate a few pieces before I saw it. Here's hoping he doesn't get sick.
- The spicy crab roll is just a mess. The mayo is unseasoned and the crab topping is just everywhere. It looks nothing like the photo on the website. See for yourself.

Avoid at all costs. Truly the worst sushi I've had in Austin. $70 worth of sushi went straight into the trash.

I don't how this place has such good reviews, the food was awful. There are much better Thai places to eat at. The Thai tea was burnt and undrinkable, the Thai Yellow Curry tasted nothing like it normally does and was bland, it had hints of spicy next but no actual flavor. The jasmine rice was over cooked and tasted like it had been cooked in old/reused water. Skip this place and try out Mam's instead.

May be it's my luck... expected authentic Asian taste, it fell short in the dishes I ordered. Thing about Asian food is the spices blend in, but here it was not so.

We love this place! Everyone is so kind and friendly and the food is delicious. Massamun curry, pad kee mao, and pad peanut are our go tos!

We were here for dinner and everything about this place was fantastic!
The food was tasted delicious, the portions were big, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the servers were friendly and checked our dietary restrictions many times.
