This restaurant was all-around fantastic. We were a little skeptical that a seafood restaurant so far from the ocean would be good, but they did not disappoint. Every item - from the appetizers to sushi rolls to main dishes - were delicious and visually appealing. Great atmosphere and service as well. We felt very welcome here - not rushed. Highly recommend!

I'm confused on how to feel about this place. The first time I came with my girlfriend, the oysters were superb and the service was on point. Our fish and chips that we split together broke apart in our hands as we tried to dip them in the tar tar sauce. It was falling apart so bad that my girlfriend couldn't even pick it up with her fork so she had to use the scoop method with a fork. We came back a second time wanting to try different food items because we didn't want the fish and chips to deter us even though its hard to f up fish and chips. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for a table when it wasn't even that busy, had 3 different waiters ranging from different age groups and genders and ended up waiting even longer for our food. We waited 20 extra minutes for oysters, and 15 extra minutes for the main meal. My girlfriend was so hungry she ate the CRACKERS. She shouldn't have to wait that long for good food. I didn't like seeing her eat crackers. Anyways, one of our many waiters came back and apologized because guess what... she's the bartender too!! food was amazing though... but bad service? host guy was very nice though and it seemed like he was very stressed but super professional and keeping a very collected composure. Good vocabulary too when apologizing for wait times. We will be back.

Food and service were amazing! Meg was our server, and although she had multiple tables in different sections of the restaurant, she was still attentive. She made a couple of recommendations (Duxbury oysters, lobster mac and cheese) that were outstanding. The special was swordfish over a mushroom risotto, and it was prepared perfectly. My dining partner had the trout, and indicated it was excellent. The only downside to our meal was the ambiance. The layout of the tables leaves very little room for private conversations (long tables with booth seats against the wall and chairs for the side facing the wall), with very little room between the tables. We know for next time to sit outside where the layout is more traditional. Nonetheless, we'll be back!

I was in the mood for seafood fusion when a friend recommended Keepers. We got to parkand soon you walk in, you are transported to this nautical land, where the candles dance and the smell of seafood and aromatherapyput you at ease. The booths are large enough for the entire family and the chairs were so comfy.I am normally a clam chowder girl by default when I go to seafood restaurant, but I decided to deviate from the regular. I tried these roasted oysters and had a Maui salad - it had pineapples! There was this Moroccan Mint Tea that they serve in this fancy tea kettle, it had about 3 cups out of it and I shared it with others. In terms of taste, I would say it's average. Salad delicious, but my oyster appetizer was a bit on the average side, it want bad , I was expecting a bit more flavor. My friends had lobster Mac and cheese and the shrimp cocktail and the portions were large enough to feed everyone at the table. There was one thing that did bother me, but I understood because it was so busy. My waiter/host walked away a few times before I could ask questions or send in another request. There wasn't a " is there anything else you'd like?" Attitude and it happens more than once. Then, before I could ask for a take away box, my food was taken without asking if I wanted a Togo box or not. The salad was huge and I couldn't eat it all. I would've loved to continue eating it the next day.Parking: Upon entering the parking lot, depending on the day, parking is really tight. They share the same building with another restaurant called Oasthouse and the movie theatre is a few feet across the lot. We went on the weekend, so it was a bit difficultKid-friendliness: Kids menu options had about 3 items, but don't expect coloring paper and crayons.

I did not eat here. I only had drinks at the bar In Keepers. However, the men's restroom was the nastiest, stale piss smelling bathroom I have ever been in. I have been in some of the divest, dirty bars ever and this place made my eyes water. Disgusting! I just hoped my clothes didn't reek after leaving the men's restroom. I couldn't believe how b ad it was.

I got the chili garlic noodles. Overall they were good but not very spicy at all. More just like garlic noodles without the chili. My partner got the lobster roll and I tried a few bites, it was by far my favorite item we tried. We also shared a lobster Mac n cheese and I wasn't a fan. It had a fishy odor which is to be expected with a lobster Mac but it was too overpowering for me. Our server was great, he anticipated what we needed next which was nice. The atmosphere was decent. We sat outside and it was pleasant. There's a bunch of fans set up on the patio which would help out a lot on a summer day.

The food, service, and ambience were all 10/10. The lobster mac n cheese and the seared scallops, in particular, were outstanding. The caesar salad was also better than any caesar I can remember having in a very long time. I can't recommend Keepers enough for anyone looking for a very satisfying seafood dinner and experience!

I'll start by saying the GM and staff were all very nice and welcoming. Additionally the food was quite good and exceeded my expectations. The two things that brought it down for me were the ambiance and the service. The bar is the centerpiece which is great but the table seating is very cramped with unusually bright lighting for dinner service. The outdoor area looked promising so i'm sure during most of the year this setup looks different but it simply wasn't suited for a $200 seafood dinner. The food was great and the staff were awesome but drinks and food took quite a long time considering it wasn't exactly busy. They need a minimum of two bartenders back there and no idea what was up in the kitchen but our entree must have taken an hour at-least. Overall i'd go back but I wouldn't recommend it for a special occasion.

Food is great, beautiful space. The crispy Brussels are my favorite, and the chicken satay.

Atmosphere is ok. The service was not good had to wait 10 minutes to get my beer and finally got it with my apperizer. Thats not the issue. The problem was the had shrimp cocktail on the menu and it was nothing close to a shrimp cocktail. It was shrimp with cocktail sauce. The one one you can buy in local HEB but for 7 bucks not 17 dollars with many more shrimps :). Absolutely nothing special about the shrimps. Very disappointing never going back again.

Fantastic service by our waitress, fast, and knowledgeable of the service. She catered to modifications on our orders and co plied with grace and always a smile on her face. The linguines were fantastic but the Baja shrimp Tacos sauce was overwhelming and did not allow the enjoy the flavors of the fish to be enjoyed.

One of the worst dining experiences in recent memory. Whatever you do, do not go for the $25 “coupon” advertised on the restaurant website. You have to give them your email, phone number, and then download a shady app that them requests more of your details. It took forever, too. I informed our waiter when we sat down that I planned to use this coupon. She said it was fine. At the end of the meal, the coupon didn’t work. It showed up in thr fianl pay screen, but then when I hit pay it showed up as the full amount. Then we had a lengthy back and forth with the manager who said the app has been giving them tons of trouble. Wish the waiter had warned us. We had to pay with another credit card and were not offered the $25 or any coupon for our trouble. I still had part of the charge from the app a few days later so I had to contact them. Very annoying. In addition, the food was SO overpriced for the portions and quality. I barely touched my salad and I sent back another item without eating it at all. That item was not taken off our final bill, which I was disappointed by.As a final note, my mom got extremely ill the following day. I’m not sure if this restaurant was the cause, but I wouldn’t be surprised. I will not return.

Our first impression was not a good one but, I believe it was because we ordered late and had it ToGo. This time however, even though we arrived an hour before closing, it was a great experience. I’m convinced Keepers has the best Ceviche in town and their Calamari was cooked to perfection. Not chewy at all and the perfect crunch ratio. ?‍?? Not a fan of the sauce on the side but imo it didn’t need it. The red Fish was light and filling with good flavor across the whole dish. The scallops plate looked small but was actually well proportioned and the vegetable medley on the side paired so well. We also got a side of Lobster Mac and even though the lobster chunks were big and did provide a good texture, the rest of the Mac just lacked a bit of flavor… so I added the green chile from the ceviche ? I’ve yet to have the best Mac in the city and doubt there is one but the one at Keepers I would have again. S.O. To our server for the night. I’m sorry I forgot your name but you really helped bring this experience full circle with your service ma’am. We appreciate you! ??
